Counter Strike: Global Offensive is by far the most efficient way.
Nothing else can even compare.
But don't count on making a living off of it.
The prices for cards aren't static either, so even if you find a way around the market, that will eventually fix itself.

i don't plan on make a living off my steam wallet :), its just a cheap way of leveling your account,
getting badges free, getting money back, ect.

Yeaaah. I know what you mean. :) I've been there.
You're basically making pennies, so it's not really worthwhile to most people.
But with the pennies that you make, you're able to complete a few sets of cards.
Kinda feels nice to make something out of nothing.

everyone knows by now you can pack 1000 gems into a sack and sell that sack on the market for around,
£0.48
well why not take a chance and get more for your gems,
some games, such as David, and Cherry Tree High get you more then your average card,
The cards from these games sell around £0.10 - £0.27, plus if you get the flee card from David,
you can get around £0.35 for it, so with the extra 2 cards you are getting a bit more back then what you would
have selling them in a sack on the market instead of converting your gems to booster packs.
FLEE card + ANXT card + BBALL card = £0.59
also while you are unpacking your boosters you have that chance of getting a foil
which could produce more money then your sack would have + the 2 extra cards on top,
its all about knowing what cards produce more money for your wallet then the average card,
FLEE card + ANXT card + BBALL (Foil) = £1.54
but you have to spend money to get gems right?
and this can be very costly if you don't have a lot spare?
not necessarily, if you do some research and find out
what 5/6 card sets are cheap and produce high gem rates for the items you get crafting the badge,
for example, Counter strike: Global offensives badge is very inexpensive
with cards priced at £0.04 and the drops producing 100 gems each.
if you can find out which cards produce the most income and at the lowest price for crafting,
then you could potentially get your complete badge for a lot less then what it was, or get money back for the complete badge,
or even get lucky with foils/rare cards and get a lot more back then what you paid giving you extra towards another badge.
and its a lot more fun this way then just throwing them in a sack and getting the standard rate for them :),
if people who already do this or think its a good idea,
could help out and post what badges they know produce high gem drops at a low price it would be greatly appreciated.
