yeah, it's kinda hard... going to make a comic for my site about this with my review of greenlight so far. long story short, I get kinda angry when I see stuff on there that are not posted by developers and stuff that's like blatant ripoffs. or things that look like school projects, heh. even seen some duplicates which gets confusing.
all in all, it's been a good idea, but there are a few questionable things on there that makes me think there's little to no moderation at all.

"Nothing to do with "Slender". That developer didn't create Slenderman, and the ideas for this game were already jotted down before Slender (Which wasn't the first Slenderman game either). Slender: Source incorporates entirely new gameplay elements."

If you like Towns or Gnomoria check out Dwarf Fortress. It inspired both games.

I tried it, but I was unable to comprehend what am I doing and what ever is happening around me. The graphic is stunning though.

It's got one of the biggest learning curves in gaming history but once you start to get over it I found it the most rewarding game I've played. The amount of planned content is staggering.

From Greenlight's About page:
How many votes does a game need to get selected?
It's going to change during the first few days/weeks since we don't know what kind of traffic to expect. Part of the drive for this system is the need for customers to help us prioritize which games they want to see made available on Steam. So the specific number of votes doesn't matter as much as relative interest in a game compared with other games in Steam Greenlight.
We're going to be reaching out to developers as we see their games getting traction regardless of whether they have achieved a specific number of votes or are sitting 1st or 2nd place at any given time. We are most interested in finding the games that people want, not requiring them to always hit a specific number of votes.

I don't get the whole slender thing. I played the game and it isn't scary at all.

I was just wondering which games were most popular on Greenlight and then this thread popped up, so many thanks. Out of those top games I'm looking forward to Slender Source!
However, my most anticipated game is easily the survival horror FPS, Routine.

Slender: Source should have just stayed as a Half Life 2 mod like it was originally intended...

Gnomoria is another game to keep on eye out for in regards to votes.
