Haha! Some of you guys have insane hours played. I don't do MMOs anymore though, not for over 10 years, so that might have a lot to do with it. I used to kinda get addicted to those and sink way too many hours in them. Hours that I could be using living life. Last MMO game I played over 10 years ago, I handed over leadership of my clan "temporarily" saying I would be back.... and never looked back. XD

• Minion Masters: 135.5 hrs
• Civ IV: 537.8 hrs
• Armello: 25.8 hrs (I only picked it up 3 days ago).

OK, my most played game on Steam which I don't regret is Borderlands 2 at 819. There- much better. ^_^

On Steam, it is PUBG with 140 hours which I haven't touched since 2017, but I've got a lot more hours on other games. Honestly, Minecraft is well into 1000+, as is Super Smash Bros Melee. Past that, I've got almost 200 hours in Slay the Spire and about 140 hours in AC Odyssey

Apparently that's Assassin's Creed Odyssey with 263 hours, I'm a weirdo who's played it twice (one before dlcs and one after they were both released). The Witcher 3 is a close second (261 hours, two playthroughs).

Eh... Steam's hour count is so not accurate for most games. Right now, my most played game would be Dying Light. Steam says I've played for 256 hours. This is not true at all. You can check your playtime in-game with DL... it currently stands at almost 158 hours. That's after one playthrough on my own, lots of grinding, partaking in a few events and now, I've started a second playthrough but in coop this time. So, yeah, it's way less than what Steam makes it look like.
Second most played, again according to Steam, is Assassin's Creed Origins at 222 hours. Buuuuut... Uplay's playtime is 165 hours. O_o

Steam counts the time that you leave a game running. Like, if you pause it and go and get a coffee or something. I have many hours in games that I left running like that when doing something else. Maybe the game only counts the hours you actually play?
Like... A Hat in Time. I did not play it past the first scene because controller support for mac is borked. I spent a few hours over several days trying to implement workarounds before giving up. But, I did forget about it and leave it running on more than one occasion. Says I played 20+ hours lol, when in reality, I didn't mess with it for more than 2-3 hours in total.

I do this with a lot of games. Boot them up, find some annoyance that I alt-tab out to see if I can find a solution for and then getting distracted and forgetting that I have the game running at all

Yeah, I thought about that. And while it's true that I will sometimes pause a game to check a guide, grab a drink or whatever, it's always something relatively quick... there's no way DL spent almost 100 hours paused or Origins, 57. That's crazy. O_o I just don't think it's possible that I left a game unattended for that long.
Sooo... my most played game would actually be AC Origins. Fun fact: it's also my most screenshotted game. I'd like to officially apologize to my Steam friends for cluttering their activity feed with around 130 screenshots. :3
