Short puzzle

Interesting...

I've tried all of the common puzzle tricks that I know and come up empty. Any hints to help us get started?

Less than 30 minutes remaining...I guess there will be no solvers for this one.

Tried about 7 techniques that I know of and none worked.
Guess you must have done something I haven't learnt yet. :(

So.. what was the solution? I noticed you modified the image but I couldn't find the code anywhere, no matter what I tried.

There are some dots in upper left corner, could not figure it out in time though.

The dots in the top left each had an rgb value of x--, x being an ascii character to spell out a message. It basically said "check tf2 inventory". In my inventory, I had renamed my only mask item to the hexadecimal value of the giveaway url.
