Gamersgate UK - region restrictions?

Hey people,

I bought some games on Gamersgate UK and am wondering about possible region restrictions for gifting them here.

They guarantee EU but for the rest it's kinda wishy washy.

What are your experiences? What do you now?

You shouldn't have any issues if they're for your own account.
For everything else, they have their own support team.

If:

  • you want to be completely sure
  • you already have the game
  • you're not afraid of mistakenly activating another version on your account (sometimes it happens),

then:

  • you can try to activate the key here
  • inspect the ajaxregisterkey response to find out the packageid (sub)
  • check the found sub by going to steamdb.info/sub/YOUR_FOUND_SUB/

and find out the exact restrictions for your key.
