About the Game:

Released in 2003 on Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube and PC, this critically acclaimed game is a marvelous journey into the Arabian Nights and a formidable action adventure game. This game is specific for us as it proved we were able to reboot such mythical franchise as this one with a great dedication on innovation and quality. Indeed, The Montreal studio came with a great gameplay innovation: controlling time. It enables not only to create great level design but also to provide more comfort for the players. In addition, the controls and the animation of the Prince was really amazing. 13 years after, it remains a very enjoyable game that has aged very well.

Come back to this page to discover the next game in mid-July!

Q: What is Ubi 30?

A: Ubi 30 is an operation organized by the Ubisoft Club to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ubisoft. It lets players discover or rediscover classic games from Ubisoft’s history in PC digital format.
From E3 to Christmas, The Ubisoft Club offers you seven games for free. Each month, a new game is available and can be acquired only during that period.

so you'd rather see a crappy AC every year?!

Yes because you see I don't like AC so it works for me, every year a new game that I don't care about. AC was supposed to be Prince of Persia AC or something but they decided to mace AC 1 to infinit , good for them . Also when I see a game each years hmm yep this must be crap because this is not how development is done in IT(doing a master in IT so I Know what I am saying), this is what phones brought for us :)) :(

i agree that annual games wud be crappy like COD and AC, but i just said a reboot for POP series , like the one they did with Tomb Raider and they succeeded so far. ofc if they don't do POP an annual thing.

I would like a new POP game but I know very well how they think , one of my teachers is a director for Ubisoft and ... . The policy is if you don't make a game with a series in mind(each year a new game) is better to not do any game :( .

Yay for Prince of Persia!
The first one was one of my first games, 15 or so years ago. I remember it came with 2 CD-ROMs, and I'm sure I still have it somewhere in my room...

Arghhh... Don't remind me! Either my copy was broken / had some elaborate DRM mechanism or I didn't understand the controlls as a kid. I pressed every button on my keyboard and the only action I could make the prince perform was 1 step forward with a huge break before I could make the next one. Obviously I didn't make it past the first pit which was like 10m from the start of the level :(

Let's see the next 6 games... something from Assassin's Creed, Far Cry and Splinter Cell?

For those who might be interested, if you download the Ubisoft Club app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and link it to your Uplay account before June 19th, they'll reward you with 50 Uplay units.

And of course, the app just crashes on startup...

Thanks for the head-up :) On the first try the app crashed right after I entered my Login but it worked on the 2nd try.

For me, it just crashes the moment I click the icon, I can't even get to see a login page...
And to add insult to injury, Ubisoft's not working app is about 100MB, while Steam's perfectly working, at least on the technical side app is just 4MB.

That's probably a stupid question (because I assume yes) but you wouldn't happen to know if app permissions automatically get revoked when I uninstall an app (on Android) ?

Yes, the permissions indeed get revoked when you uninstall an app, and you need to reissue them if you want to reinstall it.
At least, that's what happened when I reinstalled some games I played in the past, after uninstalling them due to space constraints, because I changed the MicroSD card.

Thanks for the detailled answer :) I used to sit on a huge pile of points but I spent a lot in Division lately so 50 extra are a nice bonus but I don't want to have another app I'd never use on my phone just for that.

Its a fantastic game. Warrior Within the next installment is the best in the trilogy. But this first part has many satisfying hard combats that pave the way too. Especially a fight in an elevator. The puzzles and deathtraps never fail to add the edge.

The Dutch page seems to be broken. (https://club.ubi.com/#!/nl-NL/ubi30)
So anyone from other countries getting a black / blank page like I did, use https://club.ubi.com/#!/en-GB/ubi30 instead.
