If you don't like reading large walls of text, then you may as well leave
Me and my team have drawn up this draft for a story for our project, yes there may still be grammatical and spelling errors present, but the main ideas is here.
The idea with this story is that it will be narrated along with a series of images to depict the story and that will serve as the intro for the project. Though the whole story won't be narrated, it will be too long winded.
`Gods have control of various planets, and the god Kronos has control of Earth and its inhabitants. Long ago Kronus 'formed' an inner selection of lesser-gods, the Celestial Circle, these gods were tasked with safe guarding the different regions of Earth, but these sub-gods weren't immortal, because they were more human than god (They can materialise on the planet, but they aren't immortal like a god), so once the world had a prolonged period of peace, they embedded their souls in objects and people. These objects were eventually torn apart, scattering the souls, but the souls eventually came to another person of object to rest at. People eventually die, but the same thing with the soul happens, they find a new resting place. The gods were 'asleep' but there instinct to always reside in a suitable resting place never stopped.
Humanity was able to live on its own mostly at peace, there were still disagreements, conflicts, and wars, but those are set events, wars will happen, and the gods have to let
them happen, the gods can only intervene at points which endanger the whole planet, and the whole of the native race.
Kronos thought he had the perfect world, the sub gods had done their task well, he thought.
An alien race had been watching Earth, the Leviathan. Watching them advance, scouting, to see if the planet was worth invading. They saw very intelligent life, quickly
advancing, with intensions to become the most powerful life there is. The Leviathan, guided by their god, quickly formed an invasion strategem, what looked like asteroids were
sent to Earth, and the first Leviathan emerged, then without mercy, killed everything in the immediate vicinity and colonised parts of the planet. Kronos wanted to debate this action with the Leviathan God, Minerva, but the highest god order would not allowed communication between gods of warring factions. Among the humans, this moment was known as 'First Contact', and those words became feared by the humans.
Kronos had been aware of this invasion for a long time, but the Leviathan were far more technologically advanced, so they naturally had an advantage. The law of natural selection stated that humanity should be wiped out in the coming decades. But Kronos still had the Celestial Circle, if he could awaken each of the souls, he had a chance, to push the Leviathan off the planet and destroy them.
After First Contact, the Leviathan colonised Earths moon, and made it into a base of operations, it was so close to Earth, yet the humans couldn't reach them. The few humans who braved the vacuum of space to reach them, were met with death, and the rare human who returned from the moon, were mentally scared for life. Slowly, the Leviathan sent more, and
more, and were met with little resistance. The Earths military forces were able to put up an admirable fight, there were heavy losses on both sides, but the technological advances of the Leviathan eventually tipped the scales in their favour.
England was one of the worst places hit, the colonists fought hard and long against the Leviathan, but due to their small numbers, they were quickly overpowered. Most were slaughtered, the fortunate ones were put to work mining minerals for the Leviathan, before they were slaughtered too.
A small band of colonists avoided all the Leviathan patrols, and made their way to the coast. England was destroyed, its inhabitants killed, or on the waiting list to be killed.
This small band managed to take an old war gallion and silently sail it across the sea, under the cover of night.
Kronos watched, a whole country ravaged and its population reduced to dust. This was just a view of what could happen to the rest of his beloved planet. He made himself a promise, he would protect the colonists, and use them to find the souls of gods, and destroy the Leviathan.
The colonists sailed for many days, and many nights, with no sense of direction, no idea where they were headed.
They eventually landed, the colonists had arrived at the Far Lands, and Kronos task to find the lost gods souls had begun...`
