Currently, GameSpot is doing a promo for the new Saint's Row. If you sign in on their website, you can register a CD key for a demo of Saint's Row the Third. Since SR3 is steamworks, it's all ready to go.

FYI this is merely a demo, so don't make giveaways about "This Key for Demo" or other nonsense like that.

Enjoy! http://www.gamespot.com/event/codes/saintsrow-pc/

It's not really a demo, it's just a tool for creating characters for the game. You can then play as one of them when the game launches.

I somewhat shudder what people are going to 'vote' as the #1 character to be honest....

I've downloaded it and it's incredible. Can't wait for SR3.

And I made the Spy, from Team Fortress 2. If you happen to see it and you are a TF2 fan, vote for me ;)

I tried replicating my morbdly obese british tranvestite from my playthrough on Saints Row 2 without success. The customization is a little bit dumbed down compared to the earlier titles, maybe because it is more graphically advanced and thus more complicated to mess with. The body building mechanic for the character screen is a bit too simplistic (rendering abominable atrocities nonviable). The rest works fine though.

Still.
