I will only purchase if the price is lower than it has ever been and it's over 60% discount. FO4 and GTAV are right out, likely, but I have some other things that could qualify. We'll see.

It's just, that I look at my steam account and have soooo many unplayed games, that it does't feel right :D
I actually prefer that I don't commit my time to only one game anymore, but it's diablo and I don't know...I still haven't played through Van Helsing and Torchlight 2, so maybe I'm better of with these.
Anyhow, yesterday I've played the Diablo3 demo and.... jeah I think I can't resist the temptation, it seems to be pretty awesome. I really loved the world design of it's predecessors and 3 seems to have all the good stuff, too.
i guess I'd play mostly for the solo-story and check out some of the classes. It would be worth the money, too but jeah... backlog :D

Ah, there you are, haha, since you're not on Steam. I was going to suggest this one as well (since you've shown interested in TLD)

So I took a look at Eternal Winter and must say, I'm not intrigued. The only thing it has in common with TLD is the theme. It totally lacks the heart and soul and spirit which draw me towards TLD. Tbh it looks like a bland ripoff to me, just another one of those generic survival games which are coming up lately. Survival games are the new zombie games it seems...

Yeah, if you're looking for the complete "isolationist" experience, TLD is by far the better choice. Other than the winter survival theme, they're quite different, though. I only mentioned Eternal Winter because it's half the price.
I'm a fan of the more "true to life" survival games (sans zombies) - The Long Dark, Stranded Deep, Subnautica, etc. For tension and realism, though, TLD is my go-to game in the genre. Mmm wolves. ;)

At this point - I am solely waiting for Elder Scrolls Online.
I played the beta - and was really disappointed in it. Also - was not interested in paying a monthly fee.
Time goes by, monthly fee is removed, game gets many updates - I was still to scared to play it considering how horrible the beta was.
More time goes by - Free Weekend Pass arrives - I play it all weekend long - AND LOVE IT!
I know it has been 60% off direct through Zenimax, but I really want to get it through steam - and I have credit there...
Come on STEAM SALE! :)

Yeah that should get a decent sale. It was 66% off in the last one :)
I might pick that one up too actually if it goes for that cheap. I also played it way back when I had to subscribe and I was not particularly impressed with it but as you say time marches on - things change and it seems the game actually changed for the better.
I have a few friends who purchased it the last sale and it is all they play now. They are totally and utterly addicted.

actually, for games with their own launcher i prefer non steam versions (mmos speaking) because steam usually ends up being more of an annoyance really. I learned it the hard way with both planetside and final fantasy XIV.
and for most mmos you cant actually mix steam and non steam bought versions, so if a big expansion comes not only its usually more expensive to buy it on steam, it also takes way longer to get a serious discount and its way cheaper to buy it directly from publishers site. And you are out of luck because, well you cant use those expansions on your steam account... so yeah, after the free weekend thing was over, i got my steam-free ESO version :P

All I know is that I will own Rocket League by the time 2016 comes :3
Also, maybe Far Cry 4 if it have a decent discount.

Must have ? hmmm.. nothing really.
Want ?
Anything that's on my wishlist, with Life is Strange and Invisible Inc. being the most likely candidates at the moment.
So I'll probably grab a few of those if they're discounted heavily. (75% off or more)
And I might grab some cheap things on a whim. Have found a couple of nice surprises that way before...

If they match or improve the last sale's price for Dying Light (with season pass) I'm getting it this time around. Beyond that I'll check on isthereanydeal to see what games on my wishlist are at historical lows and decide what to get based on that.

Phantom pain I hope it gets a discount, and that is all.

Black Closet is really fun if you like visual novel mixed with strategy and investigations elements :).
For me it's:
Sunless Sea
Few text games from Choice of Games that I'm currently missing
Dead in Bermuda
Papers, please
And even though it probably won't be on sale, I will very likely end up buying "Undertale"

Nothing really, still waiting to see how much is trading going to be affected by this new escort thing, and since i have like 699 unplayed games i doubt im gonna buy anything for myself unless its some really really awesome deal (:
might grab a few cool games for giveaways though, but its first time since i started trading that im not going to spend any serious money during a big sale and that makes me sad, sad turtle.
