Oh, thought he died today. But was a few days ago. RIP.
On the top of my head I remember The Hitcher, good movie.
Also remembered Blind Fury. Has mediocre rating on imdb, but remember I enjoyed it as a kid at least :)

At any given moment, we are living in the absolute best time for any form of entertainment. No era can compare to the artistic diversity and freedom that we have in the present. We have simultaneous access to all archived arts and cheap production/distribution for all current and new media. The creation of new art, or introduction of new artists, does not destroy the integrity of older art/artists.
This "lewronggeneration" attitude is ridiculous and annoying as hell. People used to think Mozart was the death of music-- get a grip.

Yeah, and at any given time, it's annoying as fuck.

yeah. if you can't be adequately entertained in your own time, you wouldn't be adequately entertained in any other time.
same is true for 'seeking your fortune' and such crap. If you're living a boring life now, you'd be living a boring life then too

Depends how you look at it, father is simpler, it may be more fitting, Tyrell is Roy's creator, a god's figure, it is fitting for building this creator's image to call him father. But on the other hand look at it this way - you meet your creator, your god, yet you are so angry at him, so frustrated, you detest him so much, that instead of calling him father all you can do is spit out fucker. While father builds Tyrell's character, this fucker builds Roy's one. So for me neither is better, both are very fitting, just for different reasons.

and (local) tv series. My mother introduced me to this great series because I loved the medieval times, had several medieval lego pieces that i kept rebuilding :)

Well, it was unexpected. By me at least. I feel strange now.
Interesting that he died in the same year Blade Runner was set - thus the same year his character died.
