Not sure about this, but speaking in general: Go to gog and re-redeem your key for a DRM free version. It runs better than the Steam version for me, don't ask me why.

if this happens in all your 3D games, your GPU will die within a few months, at least that's what happened to me.

I'm not saying that it has to happen, it was just my experience. I tried to upgrade and downgrade my drivers several times without success, after some minutes those graphical glitches would appear in any 3D game.
a few weeks later, the game even had those glitches at startup (2D games still did run fine).
In the end I bought a new card.

Then get your warranty. Card is going to fry on you

Stress test using FurMark. If the glitches are really due to hardware this should become obvious soon enough. That your card is new is no guarantee that it's OK, could be an early failure.

Certainly looks like a faulty GPU to me. My old 4870 started artifacting like that a little while before it died completely. Try some other demanding games and see if the issue persists. If it does, time to RMA it.

if you are using steam version, try patching it or use gog version. its a patch for different issue but it just might help

mmm, i think the ram of ur video card is going bad XD, if u can set the ram clock the same of 260x and not the OC edition or lower it a bit, this should help , in order to let it live longer :) anyway it will die , if it's not an hardware problem try as the other people said for the gog version or similar things :)

Replace the GPU ASAP. If it's still under warranty you shouldn't have any problems.
I've been on that situation with a GeForce 256 if i'm not mistaken, but i wasn't able to replace it directly through the retailer because they didn't find any flaw (nor did they try to run that same game, Call of Duty 2).
