Can't really complain about Chinese gaming mice. I've got one that I still use and has been going strong for almost a decade now, while my favorite mouse - the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum died in less than three months after I bought it. 😞
Therefore... depending on the mouse you got, it might take longer than you think for it to break. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Unlucky...my G502 is still going strong after 2.5 years. I like Logitech for my peripherals, got keyboard, mouse and headset from them.

PS4 Controller for my mac. That's quite a while ago. Haven't bought anything since then.

Tomorrow I plan on buying a new USB controller since the one I have has a damaged wire and isn't working properly.
But the most recent physical stuff purchase were the CDs I bought at a garage sale several months back. For $1 I got copies of Windows 95 Scrabble, some compilation CD called Break!, and a copy of Zork: Grand Inquisitor.

Does the loot from the games bargain bin at my local gaming store count? They're not digital games technically, they're on DVD :P
I got myself a gaming chair because I've been spending way too much time gaming this past year and my ass was tired of the couch :P
Also bought a new controller but had to return it because the left stick was... well, sticky and haven't gotten a new one yet.

I don't mind at all. It's just a pretty generic (but very comfortable) gaming chair from a German furniture maker Woltu
My girlfriend knows someone who works in the design department and it was a gift so she got a good price I think (I was not allowed to ask)
I was going to buy a standard Oversteel Ultimet from Amazon because I am broke right now but she told me to hold on "til after Xmas" which is usually code for "look, I know you have something in mind but I got it for you already so don't spend money on something you'll have to return"
I don't know if Woltu sells in the US but it's a pretty good chair for the price range I'd say. And it fits well with my tiny apartment and my racing wheel so all in all, I'm pretty happy. And it beats the couch ;)

She's a nice one indeed :)
Yeah I think it's a good mid-range. A lot of the most expensive ones have over the top features like sound systems and massaging back but tbh, a lot of the mid range, you're just paying for the gamer look and colors and logos and stuff.
You just need to make sure that it fits your needs and that it has good reviews regarding comfort and basic features. I'm very happy with mine and it doesn't have to be a recognizable brand that has paid all the Youtubers and "esports" tournaments, to be good.

Yeah it's true of most things now but with gaming stuff, if you know the brand or the logo, you're paying for it with 50% of the price.
Sound system can be cool but I have a friend who got one and it's just more wires you know? Then the connect start failing and you end up with an expensive chair that doesn't do what your computer already does better.
The massagers get bad reviews everywhere. They tend to make the back support move and they're not that relaxing when you're in game. I have a cool little Japanese massage pillow that can attach to any type of gaming/office chair and it costs like 40 bucks so no need to pay 200 extra for it to be stuck to a chair.
Thanks again for your thoughts. I'll be ordering one before the end of the month. If you're curious, I'll let you know what I go with.
No problem. If you look at models and have any practical questions come to mind, just msg me on a GA or something ;)

Oh god I can't remember.
I think the last retail copy of a game I bought was for Divinity Anthology. But it was several years ago.
Probably my current headset but I also have it for several years.

It's been so long I honestly can't remember.
Probably my cheap generic smartphone stylus in a vague effort to help me draw in Jackbox games?
I gave up on that, and just ended up using a desktop browser window and using my mouse in the end :P

Extension cables for my NES and SNES Classic controllers so I could sit on my couch while I play.
