SG doesn't award contributor points for giveaways that end with only 1 entry. This is to combat scammers that try to cheat the system by making a private giveaway for a high value game, where either a friend enters or the giveaway creator enters themselves with a 2nd account or whatnot. I've also encountered the same problem as you where a 2 day group giveaway I created (that has 70+ members) ended with only 1 entry. I've spoken to support to see if they could manually enter contributor points to legitimate 1 entry giveaways but since mine was the first suggestion of the sort, I'm not sure if and when it would come into fruition.

For those of you who automatically assume that the OP's group giveaway is a scam or seems fishy could do a little work by seeing what groups the OP is in (1 group with 72 members). This would save you folks some time in replying with your false assumptions and resulting embarrassment.

Can you add me to your group man? I'm really on forums (I know that I did'nt registered my steam account before 2010 but please :)

I assumed from not doing any background stuff that it was someone trying to cheat... But I read the thread before posting xD.

If the OP had added details about his groups to the post, people may not have been so quick to call him/her as a cheater :/

Yeah that's stupid. I had 50$ worth of giveaway that had only one entry...
And he never played the game thus breaking my heart. :'(

it was just a giveaway inside a group which almost all participants had the game in question... no cheating, just one of my first 2 giveaways, noobish :)
