Funniest thing that happened to You in Steam?

Same thing happened to me once. Speed just skyrocketed, but not like it actually went that fast. With that speed the download should've been done in an instant considering your hard drive can take the speed

well, the best one i liked and remember was the 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 mb/s download speed, with mine 650 kb/s it was such a dream

Once I left my PC on overnight to download a big game, when I came back I realized I had the download paused.

Steam once told me that the game was purchased - "tomorrow" =)
Strange thing on SG today. Second thread where i'm blacklisted =))

I've won Shadow of Mordor on SG, I've installed it right away. Instalation has lasted 12 hours. Game didn't run. Note to myself: check if the game is dedicated for 32-bit Windows BEFORE you will try to install it.

Received a gift copy of Depth from my dear friend, had 30 minutes of playtime before even installed it.

I've had the same thing happen with the download speed... if only it were actually that fast.

I got banned from General Discussions for less than a minute because a mod messed up when banning a spammer just above me in a discussion.
Needless to say it was quite the scare, but they explained it was a mistake and the ban had been removed.

When I got kicked from girl gamers chatroom because I said "TIL "lmao" is a bannable offense", rejoined, asked "what the fuck was that", got banned, left the group. It was kind of cringy anyway, not sure why I joined it.

Got kicked out from DOTA 2, Group Chat, and CS:GO on 40 minutes....

I had this funny display error where steam apparently gifted you Borderlands 2 and some cash for a free pizza + coke xD

I think it was a glitch with my account or something,
but I got 57 trading card Booster Packs during the month of January.
I was getting 1-3 packs most days. I'm only level 119.

It stopped in early February. ;_;

Most funny thing for me is probably that I started to buy games. Just in 1,5 years i turned from full pirate to game collector with 3,5k bought games. I still don't understand how that happened to me

I got 32 forum bans on Steam. Some of them are permanent.

Funniest thing? I registered to steam to buy a game that was very discounted (Inquisitor I think). I ended up having nearly 800 games. Funny thing!

Digi Hom once banned me for quoting their post of immature ranting and replying "lmao".

I think the funniest thing that happened to me on Steam, is when I won a cheap game on the now defunct "Gala Giveaways" website and I was given "Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut" instead!!!
I contacted the GA creator; he asked me to delete the HR:DC gift email, and sent me the proper gift.

However, I later bought the removed from store "Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Augmented Edition" with all DLC's. This Augmented Edition had a 40-page art book and motion graphic novel -- these cannot be bought anymore. A rarity.
