$1.5M (and counting) for a card game... To be compared to $2.5M for the Librem 5, which is pretty much our only chance to get rid of GAFAMs on our phones at the moment. We live in a f***ed up world :s

(and if you didn't, it's still a good one too 😀 )

Also, Librem 5 is there. It was started as a crowdfunding campaign and apparently they kept it up as a pre-order shop afterwards.

Never heard about Librem 5 before. After googling and seeing it's based on linux I can't say I am interested.

I like the amount of apps and games on android and how customizable it is (mostly with third-party apps and launchers, even without rooting it).

Just 2 remarks: Android is pretty much based on Linux too ;) and they have the project of making it able to run Android apps in the future.

Also, Android might not last as long as we though it would: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-07-19/google-team-is-said-to-plot-android-successor-draw-skepticism

sadly these projects are often semi-US-only, because the shipping gets rediculous quickly. However, I hope localization / TTS mods will follow in the future, I always enjoyed Isaac and Meat Boy :]

After the success of TBOI, SMB and Rebirth you'd think they would use their own money to do investments instead of always begging for it.
If the original goal was of 50k i wonder how they're gonna use that one million and half.
