Haven't played VP4 or Premium Pool, and haven't played Cue Club since pre-Steam so I'm not sure how the new version compares (though it seems quite overpriced for what it was).

Pool Nation is a good game overall and should be easy to trade for cheaply, but they gave up developing it further in favour of FX, and the multiplayer isn't all that well implemented. It's probably mostly dead by now.

I didn't like Pool Nation FX as much in general (style, soundtrack, interface, controls, etc.), but you might have a better experience with it if you aren't comparing it to the original. Haven't played it online, but it does have a lot more gameplay options, and it's a more multiplayer focused game (and F2P) so it's probably the most alive and the one to go for.

Pure Pool feels pretty different - it's got a more realistic style and a better feel than Pool Nation in some ways, but the controls and lack of freedom with the camera make it more difficult to play. Haven't played the multiplayer, but the forums suggest it's buggy and dead. It's still being patched though, and perhaps updates along with a good sale/bundle deal in future will bring it to life.

I've only played Pool Nation. It's a pretty good game, and also has multiplayer.
