I think you took the best action if they didn't revoke it before they saw your message, might end up being bad for your Steam account even if it was their error...

if i were you i would have bought tf2/dota2/csgo keys, sell them for paypal money and buy weed with the money. if they won't revoke it, you win. if they revoke it, WE ALL WIN. imagine gaben appears in a convention or something and HE'S HIGH.

It is a mess up from their side, you could have just ignored it and spend the money on games in my opinion.
If it was me, I would contact the support though.
Both choices are okay, the former comes with free money.

PS: Btw don't ask them to do anything even if you contact the support. They should know what to do anyways....

Well steam will take back it automatically and if you spend it they will revert the purchase! This happens during the conversion but they always take it back when do a check.

I would send a ticket, only because i'm curious to see what kind of response i would get from them.
My guess is that they will give an impersonal automatic response, but let you keep them money

Still, wouldn't judge either way, dont understand why no one cares about taking advantage of some circumstances (price errors) while others are frowned upon

send them a ticket and they are most likely going to fix it in a couple of weeks time. 2-3 months tops. Heck for all you know they might also reward you for being so nice and honest and give you a free dollar or two! yeah not going to happen but ... >:<

Gut reaction is for you to spend it but safer to go the support route
