Hi. I just had this quick thought while reorganizing my wishlist (again for the nth time).

So yeah, are you willing to give up all your Steam games to get the top 5 games in your wishlist?

For the benefit of the question, let's say you won't be able to play the free-to-plays you currently own AND you won't be able to crack (illegal download) the games you own too.

In my case, it's probably a NO. I'm getting addicted again to DOTA2 after a one month break. I also have my 3DS. Still, I'm really itching to play The Typing of the Dead:Overkill & Nidhogg with my brother. It's still a NO for me though :p

You can post your top 5 wishlist here if you want. Here's mine:

  1. The Typing of the Dead:Overkill
  2. Nidhogg
  3. The Elder Scrolls:Skyrim
  4. Don't Starve
  5. Defender's Quest:Valley of the Forgotten

Ultra Street Fighter IV should be my top 1 but it's not out yet...

Interested in your answers and wishlists :D

EDIT: Like I said, it was a quick thought and asking this in steamgifts might have also something to do with the overwhelming NO response XD
Anyway, what's your take on how to sweeten the deal?

Fuck no, I have 300 games, and many are better than anything on my wishlist.

That would be a monumentally stupid thing for me (and many others here) to do....

My current Steam library in exchange for South Park: TSoT, a Pinball FX2 Super League table, Dishonored, and two Pinball Arcade season packs? Heh, not a chance. That's an extremely poor trade off just for some instant gratification.

No way. Although it is true that I really want to have my top 5 wishlisted games, there are a lot of good games in my account that I certainly do not want to lose. In fact, I do not believe that anything could make that deal attractive to me.

Hell no, I've got every game I'll need for the next five years. My Wishlist is just a placeholder.

No. I spent too much to throw it away now.

Nope. Many of the games I have I want to replay later anyway. For some in my current wishlist, that's not guaranteed.

Hmm maybe if I got to keep 5 of the games I currently have, then yes. I actually wish I had redeemed some of the games I have on a separate steam account, because I feel like it's full of crap now. Lol

No way, I value my current games much more than I value any other 5 games :)

Those 5 better be god-like if I'd to remove 457 games ...

I don't think so. I prefer What I have, than 5 top of wishlist.
For all F2P - ok then yes, for my steam games - no.
My wishlist (really want is like 60 titles). I want buy it, when will be in promo, have money or get it for free.

My top pos in wishist:

  1. Darkness 2
  2. Thief (2014)
  3. Next Car Game
  4. Borderlands 1 & 2 (GOTY - still was to high price)
  5. Antichamber
  6. Nether
  7. Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition(too high price, waiting for promo)
  8. Spec Opc: The Line (lack of money in last promo)
  9. Mass Effect 1&2 (I did't saw promo, whatever it was or not)
  10. Deus Ex HR (lack of money in last promo, I buy smth else).

Darkness 2 is on sale on gamefly and you'll get Spec Ops too, so why not buy it from there? ;)
And Darkness 2 is definitely worth it :)

Also Mass Effect is still on sale too.

No chance, for only my top 5 on my wishlist. Considering I own over 1000 games, it's definitely not worth it for just 5 games.

Nope. If I had a time machine, I would ask my past self from 2008 if he would go for it.

Daikatana is #6 on my wishlist. Surely that tells you the quality of games there.

Perhaps because they have thousands of (local currency here) worth of games in their account, and their top 5 wishlist games don't come remotely close to that? :P
