Created my Steam account to get Portal for free.

Left 4 Dead, was a gift because friends wanted me to play with em.

HL1, I went to install my old copy from disc and it forced me to use Steam, I was like WTF?!?!? I have come to appreciate this. However, that account was stolen, and I never got it back. Steam never replied to my inquiries, so I was forced to make a new account and buy a lot of games a 2nd time. Pretty lame.

Fallout New Vegas Retail. got it at best buy for $20 during the month it was released. got to love sales at best buy.

My first steam game was Killing floor. Fantastic game

my very first game was 'Portal: The First Slice'...it also gave me Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast...
it was some kind of Nvidia/ATI promotion, if you had either of their graphics cards you could get those things for free....

and then, literally like a week afterwards, i found some kind of promotion to get the whole Portal game completely free....and from then on...

but the very first game i got, that i pad for was 'Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000'....but only because i was poor...and it was only 5 bucks....and also my computer sucked...at the time, Killing Floor and Half-Life 2 were the most hi-tech game i could play lol....glad those days are over for me...

Says here "NVIDIA Portal: The First Slice". After that, I bought a Portal + Portal 2 Bundle during last year's Summer Sale. Mirror's Edge would've been first at $5 but it took me a few months to get Steam off my back about my Virtual Credit Card. Bunch of jackasses, Steam Support.

Doom 3 BFG Edition, won in a giveaway on twitter, then I bought a gaming PC.

Here is the start of the list: Garry's Mod, HL:Episode 2, Team Fortress 2 (It was not free to play back then), Counter-Strike Source, HL2, HL2:Episode 1, L4D2, Day of Defeat: Source, L4D, Half-Life: Opposing Force, HL1: Source, Arma II: Combined Operations.

From this list you can see that I was just gathering Source games until I bought Arma 2. I love Garry's Mod.
