I wasn't sure either, but when I checked the site, I saw a little info button near the top. Apparently, while this happy hour is going on, when you purchase a bundle as a gift, they're giving you extra giftable copies for free, with how many depending on when you buy it. It looks like if you buy before June 2, you get 3 freebies; already bought it, get 2 freebies; buy it, get 1 copy. The idea seems to be to give earlier buyers more free copies, but the timing here seems a bit odd -- the way it's written makes it sound like this shouldn't have appeared until at least June 3, and possibly later. That may be what halnco meant by saying this move could be to compete with the recent release of Humble Indie Bundle V.

IIRC, when I've purchased things from companies outside my country, there's always been some sort of transaction fee. I think it's a common thing, and I suspect it's because they've got to convert currencies -- you pay in one unit, but the company you're buying from gets payment in another.
