How often do you change your Avatar?

On forums and such, I tend to change my avatar rather frequently, or even have a random one displayed with each page load (usually tied together by a common theme). On Steam, however, I've never changed my avatar since I selected it.

every time i find funny picture online i just change it, no one seem to have issue remembering me cause my nickname is beyond easy to remember

I like my avatar, and I'm sticking to it. It's kinda nice representation on me being not serious on the Internet. Just like that.

In four year's I've had 3 avatars.

1. Fry from Futurama.
2. This one.
3. Dr. Mouse (Simpsons parody).
4. This one again (since House's ending).
   And I've never changes my nickname, so I think it's easy for my friends to remember who I am.

I've always wanted to have a stable avatar, but since I'm terribly moody I always get bored in no time and feel the need to change it. However, I try to be balanced and avoid changing avatar every day - regarding Steam avatar in particular I always keep it longer, at least for several weeks.

I do it EXTREMLY rarely. (Talking about Forum avatars and whatnot)

Since my cat passed months ago, I'm never changing it. Before then, I've probably changed it once every several months for no particular reason other than wanting change. Unless it's Backloggery; I change my theme every 3-4 months just to represent something enjoyable I'm playing at the time.

Not often. I just changed mine a couple days ago but before that it was the Duke of Flies for... well, I'm not sure how long, but quite a while.
