the bossfight was crazy i klicked nearly 5 minutes (firefox and bad inet)

Bad idea. In truth, all items are useful. They are there for a reason. If you are not using something, you are certainly losing on "capabilities" and as a result: precious time too.

YES this is brilliant! I'm loving the experience so far (I just started and am currently waiting for my energy to replenish). The game reminds me how much I loved Zork when I was a kid. Quite good and even nostalgic. Thanks a lot for that!

Out of curiosity, how long does it take for the Vampire Staff to reload? I was so proud of that purchase and then got to use it only once :D

That also requires early lack m8. For example for my first hours in the game, I could not find energy potions. Yes none. Due to this, I had to wait for some hours to be able to continue. Only laterz, did I get in the endless loop to be able to finish the game straight. I do hope in future versions, changes are made to prevent this endless loop from happening.

Hey! I was just looking through the topic again and remembered that you mentioned this "endless loop". Could you specify what you mean by that? Do you just mean the excess of energy potions or something else?

Well yes. Sorry for misleading you. I'm also in computer science so I do tend to use some programming lingo some times, while I don't really mean it always literally. :) And yes the excess of potions was definitely the culprit. Not only because they dropped too often, but also because of low price in shop and because of the combo of full energy potions (especially if you had extra max energy from artifacts). You could easily finish the whole game without a single rest. You just needed some early luck in energy potion drops that's all.

Hehe. Well like I said before the only thing that kinda bothered me as a bug was item drops that never registered in the text when found. And judging from other's comments I was not the only one with this small issue. It's most probable that we picked them up along with coins. But somehow only the coin text appeared. And it happened in both chrome/firefox for me.

Yeah, that has been fixed already, unfortunately a bit late though :) People found more coins than they should have thanks to this bug since it granted the coins together with some items (the Game decided to be too generous!) :p

That also explains why I felt "filthy rich" for the entire game. :P We literally bought everything off that shop. xD
Note: The staff was pretty evil and neat, but unfortunately too slow on cooldown to actually be worth it. Since you could do the thing in almost one single run, the staff lost all of it's potency and was only used once.

You are right, the cooldown appeared to take too long since I expected the Game to last longer. The Game was tested in different conditions (without long replenishments and resurrections) and thus I failed to predict the actual duration :)
The first small Game took around 2 weeks and didn't manage to get the required 50 winners, and now the second, big Game, got 50 winners in 2 days :p
So I still have to work on balancing things, and it also gets more complicated as the Games get bigger as well.
I'll try to make the next one last at least a week ;)

Yeah that makes sense. I figured that the first run of the game, was much longer than this. You can't predict everything and that's normal. Still had lots of fun though.

Well, it's better for them to finish a bit late than a bit early. As I said, I didn't expect the Game to take just 2 days. I also couldn't predict how many people would play the Game. The number of people appeared to be much higher than I expected and thus the number of winning places appeared to be relatively low. I couldn't extend it much further though since I had to take into consideration the overall number of giveaways to make sure they don't get too many entries. But it makes me happy that so many people have joined the adventure and enjoyed it, it keeps me motivated to continue the development ;)

Since the number of winners increases quite quicky, the giveaways still have a relatively low amount of entries and there are still lots of people who would like to have some more fun in the Game, I decided to increase a max number of winners a little - to 50 people.
The fun shouldn't end too soon! I want more people to be happy and feel the joy of victory :)

I am stucked. Explored all the rooms required but not sure what to do now. Is there a way to swap the stones? I lost the pickaxe after destroying the boulder. Any hints what i should do next? The only thing i miss is the traveler needing stamina pot which i failed to give him and can't find him anymore.

I also missed that traveler-adventurer. Didn't have the potion to give him when I found him first. Bad thing is I later teleported on him to do it, but he was already gone. :( Thankfully it was optional. No idea what bonus he would give. Probably some kind of bonus item etc.

This is an amazing game, but man.... the confusion mechanic is horrible ! I was shocked when I saw that you used it for the boss fight too...
For me the main issue with it isn't the speed, but that it doesn't register the clicks properly - most of the time it just marks the caption of the action instead of triggering it, probably because the cursor isn't completely standing still when clicking it.
The rest of the game is solid, awesome work. Good job ! :)

All of us like playing games, and all of us like winning games. So, how about playing a game and winning games while playing?
Introduction
Game of sWords is a text RPG Adventure where you can explore dungeons (or other locations), complete quests, solve puzzles, find useful items, avoid deadly traps and fight dangerous monsters while searching for treasures (private SteamGifts giveaways links) on your way and trying to reach the end to get access to a huge amount of private giveaways! Each Game (of sWords) usually has a unique scenario and a limited number of winners, so the chances will always be great.
All giveaways have no restrictions, so anyone who finds them can join them!
A lot of giveaways have been contributed by the community members, and I would like to say a big Thank You to everyone who made a contribution! :)
Important notes about the Game
In the Game, you will have Energy Points and Health Points.
Most of the actions in the Game require Energy Points. Energy can be replenished using items, which you can find everywhere, thus it is important that you check everything around you!
Energy will also be replenished over time. Normally, you will receive 1 Energy Point every 15 minutes, and that time can be reduced with special artifacts that can be found in Game.
Note, that the Energy won't be replenishing during the battles (you can only restore it with potions)!
If you lose all your Health Points, you will also lose all the energy you had plus you will have to wait for up to 6 hours to be resurrected. (Resurrection happens every 6 hours from the time the Game started - 16:00 GMT). The energy can not be replenished while you are dead!
Note: If you have problems navigating through the map, you can switch to Simplified Navigation at the bottom left corner.
