I'm thinking of a number!
In fact I'm in love with her - even though she looks a bit strange, because she's rather big and has 54 fingers.
I don't care - I'm in love - she's just ...

Ugh, I give up for now. I'm gonna need some hints or for my brain to have a sudden revelation and come up with something else. Nice spin on the all-time classic "guess what number OP is thinking of" riddle complaint!

The puzzles don't contain the answers. They're usually more associative:

  • Some kind of thing or concept is thrown at you
  • Cryptic clues are given

The most consistently successful solvers typically take good note of the clues, without trying to understand them first. They research what they identify as the thing/concept presented, and by learning more about the topic the cryptic clues start making some sense - sooner or later (in this case - pretty soon) obvious solution candidates present themselves.

I will not give any more hints than Tomas will but a good way of looking at riddles in general is examining the choice of words. They're rarely random and can help you along to the final solution.
Tomas is definitely careful with the words used in his riddles.

You'll get there.
I usually make notes of what seems significant and try to think about them individually, see if any pattern emerge.
You'd be surprised how many times those patterns emerge when I'm trying to sleep :P

I am not sure if it is okay to use ChatGPT but since I didn't plan to enter the giveaway anyway I gave it a go and the answers are amusing. I knew that AI creating images had problems with depicting hands (to much or to less fingers), bit I didn't know that AI generating texts had that problem too:

"The mention of "54 fingers" may refer to the fact that this number is 9 billion, which has ten digits. If you count using your fingers starting from 1, each hand will get you up to 5, and your thumbs can be used to keep track of additional digits. Therefore, you would need 54 fingers (27 on each hand) to count to 9 billion."

Sure ChatGpt I always count to 9 billion by using my 27 fingers on each hand 😂

Yea AI chatbots are currently like that smartass friend who will be the first to answer you, but it will be some nonsensical statements.
