Do you like it? Are u excited?
Loved Banjo Kazooie, pledged a few minutes after it went up :D So happy to see it hit the stretch goals for local multiplayer, too <3

I haven't played Banjo Kazooie, because the last console I had was an NES, but I really liked Rayman 2 and 3 (are they similar? :S) and I'm glad we will see a competent 3d platformer on the PC - we don't get that very often. And I love the lead characters design personally.

Remind me in a couple of months, when more work has been done on it.
'cause the prototypes they're showing off really aren't up to standard yet.

I'm super excited for this game. I'm actually kinda surprised that not many other people here are, but I suppose there are pretty big age differences between many of us here, not everyone has played the first ones, and I think most people who have played before probably did so as kids. I think YL will surprise a lot of people, I think it will get a lot more attention when it's near release and I think it'll be a smash hit. Playing Banjo Kazooie and Tooie gives great insight into how a lot of Playtonic's plans and promises will be executed and I really think that if there was a team to revive the adventure platformer, this is it.
I think a lot of people who have never played BK or BT look at those games as just another Crash Bandicoot or Spyro where the games are all pretty similar and admittedly are quite simple in nature. BK&T to me are special because the characters are unique and memorable, the humour is excellent and has that hidden layer of adultness to it, and they have a lot of unique innovative elements that became hallmarks of the series. There's a lot to do and progress towards, I think they were pretty full on games for their time, especially Tooie. Which personally is my favourite and is probably the only game I can think of that I actually thought was a better game than its predecessor.
