STEAM clamping down on bandwidth

aka how many tabs/links you open within a time-frame

Have noticed while listing items or viewing steam community items > every time since a week or so - you get logged out and shown
the message from the pick below (don't even know for how long it remains - as i divert my attention to something else once it does).
Made a thread this time as i had only opend a few links maybe 9 or so within a minute ...

So have you noticed this too? It even says so: (slightly paraphrased message as seen in the pic.)
"heyo, whatup ... were clamping down on bandwith only 1 tab at a time champ, now bugger off and give it a rest"

Quite a bother, as i tend to check all the crap at once and leave it be afterwards -
almost forgot also on a "whim" it doesn't show any listings/prices.
