Is there a way to filter out porn games?

It takes some time, but once you hide them 1 by 1, it gets clearly better to mantain. I see now 7 giveaways on main page.

I believe you have two options:

• click 4th icon next to the game's name (slashed eye) to hide this game
• buy them all so SG will automatically hide the games you own (but that doesn't work on DLCs) :D

Might sound stupid, but hiding every single one u see over a period of several months is the way to go. I have been doing that for 3 months and I rarely see them anymore. Also some users perpetually only keep sharing from this genre, blacklisting them lessens frequency of seeing newer ones. In comparison to xxxka, i see 0 of these games right now.

I wish there was a way to import or export your hidden games list, would make life easier for new users.

Right now the only option is doing it manually... For the first three months it can feel like useless work, but with time you will see improvement. Since I have started filtering games SG became a more pleasant place - as of now (12,317 games have been added to my filter list) I rarely see more than a hundred of available giveaways at time. And it just take a couple of clicks a day to keep it tidy.

According to SG TOS:

The Website is available only to individuals who are at least 16 years old.

And yet - with one click you can enter some steamy +18 pictures, that are blocked on steam unless you log-in and confirm your age. I think that there are couple of countries, where something like that is simply illegal. CG should do something about that, before somebody brings that to to the authorities xD

In case you decide to hide them one by one, ESGST's One-Click Hide Giveaway Button feature might be helpful

As others have mentioned, your best option is to hide these games manually, but you can speed up the process using ESGST. It has a feature that allows you to hide games in bulk.

Here's are the necessary steps:

1. Install the ESGST extension.
2. Enable a setting called "Hidden Games Manager". This adds an icon to the top of the giveaway filters page (See attached image).
3. Click on that icon. This'll bring up a text box where you can paste a list of the Steam URLs for all the games you wish to hide. Click Add.
   

How you get the list of Steam URLs is up to you. I personally use a browser extension called Linkclump which lets me copy multiple links at once. This way, I can go to the page of a known Hentai/Shovelware publisher (e.g. IR Studio) and copy all their game URLs in a matter of seconds.
