Trades eg gems for Cards is it possible and where do you do it

• You can use gems to craft a Booster Pack if you're trying to complete a specific badge
• You can trade unwanted single cards into https://www.steamcardexchange.net/index.php?guide for credits and maybe get the ones you want
• You can't really do anything with very small quantities of gems

The lowest gem cost I saw for boosters are 400 and generally for 12+ card badges.

How much is "a small amount of gems"?

If you go into a certain badge and click "Visit trade forum" to go to something like https://steamcommunity.com/app/483420/tradingforum/ sometimes there will be traders who trade 30-60ish gems for a card, usually there are more posts when a game is being given for free i.e Humble Bundle giveaways.

I think there are levelup bots with that kind of service but you don't get to pick the sets, it gives you random sets you don't have for gems.

Personally I have waited for summer/winter sale event and break down enough items into a sack of gems along with what I already had and sell that.

Only 400 gems, and i have swapped out all my cards that are duplicates, might just try posting an offer of gems for cards on the trading forum now that i have a vague idea of value
