With all these malware sites, pishing, etc ...

I wanted to share a complete unified Hosts file that blocks 56000 fraudulent sites. You will find it on GitHub.

It's not a program just a file and it's work fine. It's simply. No need to do an analysis once infected, it blocks 56000 sites that are already declared as giving malware , phising, fakenews, etc... a Spybot add-on finaly.

Hey MaX, just an FYI: there's a Reply button that you can use if you want to respond directly to someone, you don't have to create a new post.

Little Warning:
In hosts file you can redirect any IP address to any other which means that someone with proper knowledge can make your PC vulnerable to attacks or private data extraction.

Imagine that your program, let's say Photoshop, sends its telemetry to its own servers. If you use hosts file you can block this telemetry or redirect it to the third-party server that will collect data about you.
Some trojans work by changing your hosts file and this is why it's usually write-protected by windows. To protect your PC from yourself or malicious programs.

My points is: be careful if you take some "random" hosts file from the internet. Even if it's on github and others can see its content, you can never be certain that this is perfectly safe. It may be, it may be not. One line is enough to break your protection.

Not saying that this is the case. Lack of knowledge and excessive trust may create some dangerous situations in peoples lives.
I've seen some of these hosts files already and they are clear indeed... but on the other side how would the people know if I'm not lying now? :D
