Indiegala is way too underground nowadays. Smells like another russian shovelware bundle, or am I wrong? Some of them fit the pattern at least.

no one plays those games anyway

Yes, I know, but I guess the flood of them on Steam is really harming honest developers who struggle to get attention, though.

i agree those games are becoming a cancer on steam and they achieve that by wearing the mask of indie . Some of the members of this site defend the existence of those games for reason that I can't understand.

Besides the ocasional profting from cards or +X to game collectors, I can't understand as well.

In the last months it went closer to feature freshly released shovelware than having any quality control. There are still a niceish game every now and then, but almost all is lacking in originality and/or general quality :\
cardfarmers and collectors buy it and fuel this practice.

I mean, it's tricky to get new games for bundles. Their options are basically:

  1. Rebundle stuff. You can pick high-quality games, but people won't want to buy it because it was rebundled before.

  2. New high-quality, high-demand bundle stuff. It's hard to get these games into your bundle, especially if you're not named Humble - and if you do get them, the bundle will have to be expensive.

  3. Get obscure indie games. You can sell them cheap, and they can have a lot of games that aren't bundled before, but they'll be underground and may be of dubious quality.

Out of the big bundle companies, Humble is 2 with a bit of 1, Bundle Stars is 3 with a bit of 1, Groupees goes for all three strategies, and IndieGala has always been 1 and 3.

(And then there's G2A, whose strategy boils down to "You want cheap game? Fell off back of truck.")

Missing 10, it's under $2 and there is a cat game. I'm in.

Power Overwhelming looks kind of interesting. Not sure why there are alien looking chicks on a lot of the screenshots though but I guess they may be there to sell the game.

That was one of the two games I already had. (I haven't played it).

If you're not buying this bundle, I'll be happy to give you the extra key if you want to try it out :)

It will possibly arrive with my Group Buy subscription and even if not I'd feel weird accepting gifts. Thank you for the offer though :)

I own only one and I'm interested in one of those games. It's pretty cheap so why not?

I'm guessing there won't be a happy hour for this one or did they change this at some point?

I would say there will be a happy hour for this bundle, according to what they say in the payment section (I almost fell for that one too with the Sticky Rice Anime Bundle).

That's good. I just vaguely remember a rule about only higher tier bundles ending up with happy hour.

Same reason here!

That's the only game that looks half-decent. I already know a bundle is going to be crap when many of the games are priced at $3 or less.
