Need help finding an old t.v series(I think).

So yeah I just remember like tiny bits of like 2 scenes the reason I probably even remember it at all is because it has made me not being able to sleep without covering my feet with a blanket since I was a kid.

I can't remember if it was a sci fi or a fantasy series but it did have like "alien creatures" in it and it's from the 90's.
It looked kinda medieval or kinda like the style of dune the way I remember it from what people were wearing.

So there were like these worm things that they had in glass tubes and in one scene theres like the king or something sleeping and someone walks up to his bed and holds a tube with those things next to his foot and it goes right in him.

Now another scene I remember they were operating on someone to get that worm out of him and all they did was wear some gloves, and they just magically went through his body and they got the worm out.

Oh and I remember a scene were theres like this prisoner and theres something that looks like Jabba The Hutt that is torturing him.

I kinda doubt anyone will know what I'm talking about but it never hurts to ask!
