Pros:
-Hardly any bugs/glitches.
-Realistic.
-Best survival sim out there.
Cons:
-Too damn real.
-Too much isis.
8/10 for managing to make a good survival game without throwing zombies in it.

Well, I heard that the Devs are making a "Zombie Outbreak" update. Better finish your game quickly or turn off auto-updates.

4/10 would not want to sign up for this again.
Since I'm on my phone right now I can't find the song I wanted to add as soundtrack. It would have been Pale by Within Temptation.

Title: The Game - Part 1
The character development is really quite good. Every character seems to have constantly changing motives and personalities and you never know what to expect from any of them. The only thing is that it's usually quite obvious which ones you're supposed to love and which ones to hate. The graphics and animations are by far the best I've seen, they seem almost lifelike, and the animations are so fluid and realistic it just blew me away. The gameplay is a bit boring and repetitive though, seems to usually be the same thing every day, with maybe a few special events every now and then.
But what I really care about is the story. Which so far has been interesting, if slow at times. Following this manic depressive boy, Bryan, has certainly been a roller coaster with so many ups and downs I'm surprised I haven't thrown up yet. From the conflicts between family and friends, the suggestions of terrifying acts from the voice inside his head, and the near-constant emotional abuse he is put through by everyone around him. It's just usually to much to bear, I often had a hard time playing for more than 2 or 3 hours in one sitting.
I'm still working on this game though, at least the story seems to be taking a turn for the happier. So right now, I'll give it an 8/10.
EDIT: The protagonist doesn't seem to like music that much, so there's nothing really to say for a soundtrack as it stands. But the songs I have heard so far are "How to Save a Life," "Over My Head," "You Found Me," "Viva la Vida," and "This is War."

Massively multiplayer role-playing game with virtually unlimited options. Incredibly detailed graphics and realistic sound simulation, all on top of a perfect real-time physics engine. Seems to be part of the science fiction genre, rather than the more conventional fantasy genre, but there do appear to be some fantasy elements. Seemingly mundane on the surface, but quite complex mechanics that still haven't been totally figured out by even the most clever players of the game. Even with all the options available to the player, however, there are a number of limitations to note. Starting stats can't be chosen or set by the player, and distribution of stat points seems to be random, rather than an even distribution of points for all players. This can lead to some characters starting off as incredibly overpowered and cries of "unfair", but the standard response is that no one ever promised that this would be a "fair" game. Quests can be completed to raise some stats, but time is a limiting resource, and there are no save points available to maximize returns.
The biggest point of contention among players and justification for many of the battle quests seems to be the nature of the developer. Some believe that there are many developers, and quitting the game will immediately lead to the generation of a new character. Others believe that the system was programmed by a single developer, and quitting the game leads to a permanent bonus level, the nature of which is determined by your performance in the main game. Still others believe that there is no developer at all, and the game is the natural result of emergent behavior between the interactions of various subsystems, and quitting the game leads to a permanent state of "Game Over". Players have found very little evidence about the the nature of the developer or developers, if any, in the game's programming to date, but there have been a number of players who claim to have written instruction manuals inspired by the developer. Almost all of the user manuals instruct players to help and respect one another, and some dedicated players are willing to hurt and kill others to prove that the instruction manual they are following is the best one to use to maximize love and compassion throughout the game.
There are no objective win conditions, but every game will end at some point, and players are able to define their own subjective win conditions. Common goals for win conditions include seeking knowledge by maximizing their INT and/or WIS stats, seeking wealth and maximizing the amount of gold in their inventory, or seeking to extend their future genetic influence on the population and maximizing the number of new players they bring into the game. Unfortunately, meeting subjective win conditions often leads to players defining entirely new win conditions for themselves, which leads to many players feeling as though the game is still unfinished when they reach the end of their game.

Thanks for the compliment! I'm really glad to see that someone read and enjoyed my writing. I've been wanting to write something like this for a while, and your prompt gave me the impetus needed to get started. I'm hoping to revisit this later and make some improvements when I have the time, but this is a decent base to use as a starting point. Feel free to share this with whomever you would like: friends, enemies, frenemies, casual acquaintances, strangers on the street, or anyone else. I would very much like to get credit for it, though, and my username should be unique enough to identify me for now (I might sign it with my real name or pen name if I ever get to something I consider to be a "final draft"). I know that once something like this gets shared enough times on the internet, the author's name tends to disappear, but I would appreciate it if you would make sure to keep my name attached to it while you are able. Thanks for reading, and thanks for the feedback!

Copyright this masterpiece before it gets stolen. You defined life in a wonderful way.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm not too familiar with copyright law, but from what little I have read and been able to understand, copyrighting a written work (in its easiest form) simply involves publishing it in a public forum. If a copyright dispute ever did occur, the original author would simply need to prove that they wrote and published the work in question first. The easiest way to publish this in a way that adds a date and time stamp would probably be for me to post it to a blog, but I don't maintain a blog. Perhaps a court would accept a date stamp from the Steamgifts discussion forum, if it ever came to that.
You really made my day with your delightful compliment. I like to write 'things' now and then, but I rarely share them with others, usually because I am my own worst critic. This only made it past my censor because I wrote it and posted it quickly enough that I didn't have time to second-guess myself. I sometimes fantasize about making a living from my writing, but typically think of it as an impossible dream. Even if you were being hyperbolic, feedback like yours makes me think that I shouldn't give up on the dream, however impossible or improbable it might seem. Thank you again for your comment, and for putting a smile on my face. I hope that you have a very pleasant week, and I hope that the RNG gods favor you on this site whenever you try to win a game from your wishlist!

Thank you for your kind words. I haven't been too active on the site in the previous months, but it was delightful to come back and find this comment waiting for me in my inbox. So thank you again for the compliment, and thanks for trying to resurrect the thread because of my little contribution.

Grot is, at this point in time, mostly a vehicle for minigames. Lots of the minigames are okay, but to get more you need to grind an incredibly dull memory/matching game for in-game currency. Nothing in the game provides any sense of accomplishment. I'd have uninstalled it, but I'm holding out hope that the upcoming cyborg conversion DLC might change that.

I tend to restrain myself from reviewing unfinished games. I'll make an exception this time. This review is based on my personal experience, it might be different for other players. There are some pros and cons, but considering the fact, my review will be only based on one from many possible routes you could follow I'll start with pros, then add some comments, go to cons, and end review with short summary. As for now this game is fairly good. Before I start reviewing my experience with this awesome game, I'll try to introduce this game this game to you. Lets start with pros.
Yes the most key feature of this game is vast open world with size which can only be compared to minecraft. At first you can get an impression that created world is endless, but as your story progress and you learn more and more about this world, you'll find out that its not endless, its simply looped, you can start going west and after some time you will end up in place where you started. This is one of aspects i hope they overcome in later dlc. From what developers announced, they have created similar zones (A.K.A planets) to be found out by players to start a new game, but for now it hasn't been found.
Imagine you can become whoever you wanted. There are many direct and indirect decisions for you to make to make your character fit your playstyle. You can become a well trained solider, a scientist, a priest, teacher, herbalist, traveler, there are no limits to that, whats mare you can change jobs, just anytime you want to, and if you get tired of them you can become a villain, kill other players, rob them and do whatever you want. Be warned though, playing as bad guy might result in bad ending, so i don't advise that route
The game has very high end graphics, advanced physics, really nice particles and contain all that new tech nerdy stuff you would ever wanted from the game, ragdoll, advanced facial expressions, dynamic weather, natiral sound effects and many more. Developers really did good job creating this world to feel real.
Main feature of this game was "Create your own story" and developers have not failed us. Its immersive, sometimes shocking, thrilling, funny or sad, sometimes its fairly long and other times it ends unexpectedly (i think that some RNG mechanics decides that for us).Like in other multiplayer games story can be different based on initial choices, like when or where your character was created,
Another strong point of the game is social aspect, Built in items like phones, or services like the internet, facebook, steam, can make your game experience much more exciting than playing alone. Making parties has never been so exciting, oh you can also get married, which is another cool feature, but I cannot say much about it since I haven't yet experienced it myself
Before I go to cons I'll describe my personal experience with this game. Early beginnings are almost work of art, there is a large tutorial (too bad you cannot skip it) where you can learn basic movement and interactions with objects and other players, after you pass them, you will learn how to communicate, at this point I have to mention, based on region where you were created, you will learn to communicate in certain language (that can be expanded later on as you game advance). When you learn all the basics, you will have to choose some skill you want to lvl up to get nice job (its better to start grind skills after you pass first tutorials, but its optional). Now lets head to cons.
Its the worst nightmare of many modern games, you cannot play constantly, developers decided that its better for players health to limit thier time, they cannot go without rest. So unless you drink potions, like "coffee" or "energy drink" You will be forced to have a break once a day
In many cases permadeath is a good thing, but not in this game. Developers crossed a line here (it's just my opinion). You have ONLY ONE LIFE, and whats more, you cannot delete your character and start over. The game allows you to start only one game, and you will have to deall with every choice you make without chance to redo it. Devs however explains that it would break immersion and would make too many pppl to troll if they were given respawning or quicksave/quickload. To compensate lack of this features they have allowed players to create new character, but cannot control them, it requires some efforts and roughly 9 months of waiting.
Rarely there are some bugs and random events ()call them earthquakes, wars etc) that happens in certain areas can ruin your game experience, cripple your character or even delete it. Support seems not to care about it, and if it happens to you you will not get refund, nor another character slot, its like VAC ban, it's game over for you and cannot be undone (although some ppl claim they have been given rebirth, I cannot confirm that rumor)
“When something online is free, you’re not the customer, you’re the product.” The game is filled with ads popping out everywhere, you cannot do much about it, its bitter fact players have to deal with
There are not all pros and cons of this game, but I don't have all eternity to write them here. Let's jump to my experience with this game.
After i finished basic tutorials and signed myself to certain training (A.K.A school)
i decided that I want to become a game developer. I gave up on parties, drinking etc, and I used all my skill points to lvl up math, English and programming skills As a result of some events I found a job as a php web developer focused on backend, not front html (its not bad I can still achieve "game maker" title). I have made some friends, some were removed from my friendlist. Currently i have great team and i can do "the pub" raid every Friday, its nice relaxing way to pass the time.
After many years of experience I even came up with some improvements. I hope devs will implement them in next version or next dlcs:
10/10 would make another character, and f**k Konami
(sorry for my English)

X-Online
A blatant rip-off of EvE Online.
Well, without space.
And without spaceships.
At least its universe is somewhere in space, located in a quiet spot between two sidearms of a medium-sized spiral galaxy where, in terms of galactic craziness, not a lot happens or where whatever happens is not recognized unless it's a potato.
The graphics are quite realistic, could use more intense coloring to increase immersion, though.
The soundeffects are well thought-out but repeat too often so that only few remain that will not annoy the player.
A soundtrack exists and is very, very artistic, well arranged and worth listening to over and over again, but just like its father in spirit and like most other MMOs you'll only listen to your own music during play anyway...
Gameplay itself is very tedious and can be repetitive in general but is rewarding the players very intensely, especially if the player manages to connect to the small details of the grind.
The grind, however, has to be undergone. If the player misses a single repetition he will be punished severely by loss of loot, experience, currency or health.
By the way loss of health, have we mentioned the system of perma-death that is in place? To make it even more challenging, the player can only build up their conditional stats up to a certain age to fight automatic loss of HP for two thirds of his predicted lifespan during the whole endgame content where all the nice loot begins to drop (at higher risk, of course).
Summary:
Recommended for players who have no real life and prefer to replace life with a game, grind included.
Not recommended for the casual player, for kids, or for people who don't play at all.

What's the title of your "game"?
Don't forget to add appropriate soundtrack! :)
KING OF THE FOREST
King of the Forest is an innovative survival game where you must protect protagonist named Jon against Demons. Demons can't attack you when it's bright but whenever Jon is getting upset or angry the darkness slowly spreads over the world. Your job is to prevent darkness come. You can do it by doing things that makes Jon happy. It is called Hobbies and it's determinig the Mood (the better the Mood is, the brighter it is). For example you can go swimming, do improv, play computer games, read books, take different courses, find interesting job, race cars, make friends etc. But a few things can decrease the Mood. When you're very hungry or sleepy Hobbies can even don't work at all. There is also leveling-up system of Hobbies. You can learn new things in every kind of Hobby, you can also discover new Hobbies. It is important because when you're doing the same thing over and over again Jon becomes bored and it negatively affect his Mood again. So you have to constantly strive for improvement. When you don't care about Mood, darkness comes and you have to fight Demons. You can do it by talking to your friends, writing books, going on holidays and much more. But fighting with Demons is very difficult so open combat is rather senseless. The game focuses on keeping the Mood on a high level. You can also choose so-called Life Goals that will give you a huge bonus to the Mood if you achieve them. There's a whole range of Life Goals starting from finding a good job, through getting married ending up with becoming popular.
SOUNDTRACK:
The Vagabond
Climbing Up the Walls
Biscuit
Pretty Noose
Sleeping Ute
Give Up The Ghost
Pink Moon
Happy End
If I'll find any game interesting I'm gonna add it on steam ;)
It's all a game - I hope.
