I've wanted Divinity and Game of Thrones for a quite some time now... Can't believe it's just for 1$ , gotta love those bundles :D

Since the keys are lumped together, I wonder how people will list these giveaways. I'm guessing it'll just be for whichever is the most expensive.

Yup, that's usually the way it goes.

Fuck Focus for what they did with Blood Bowl (splitting it into three different versions that aren't compatible with each other in multiplayer, and charging the unaware full price for each release). Not even worth spending a single dollar, especially considering all the technical problems Cities XL has.

You could just adjust the slider?

What?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

At step 2 (after assigning the amount of money you'll pay), you can adjust the slider so all your money will go to charity or split the money between charity or the Humble tip. That way you get their games and they won't receive a cent from you.

Last I check people playing chaos edition could play against people using Legendary edition and viceversa.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yup, Legendary and Chaos are compatible, but try playing against owners of either of those releases if you happen to own the 1st Edition of the Dark Elves Edition. Focus and Cyanide didn't bother with cross compatibility until their customers started complaining loudly about it, and only then did they allow it for the later editions.

I am just wondering what has happened with the regular Humble Indie Bundle that runs for 14 days.

Are you serious? You can't really either think that or just have posted it. The last one expired about 24 hours ago and they are waiting a bit before posting the next one. Are you really that clueless? The main deals are rarely back to back.

Excuse me for not being around long enough. The Humble Deep Silver Bundle and The Humble Origin Bundle followed back to back.

It is possible. And last time a deal expired without any replacement, a notice was posted that they were taking a break for a week. Just found it odd that they didn't posted anything this time.

IMHO not worth buying, the only good games in this sale are Blood Bowl and The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. Rest is pretty much piece of....bad game (Divinity 2, Realms of Ancient War, Confrontation) or very medicore games (Cities, Game of Thrones and Wargame)

For a dollar a developer version of Divinity is worth it xD, plus your given 10% off Dragon Commander

You do get it was only the original version of Divinity 2 that was considered bad, and that the other 2 are considered pretty damn good, right?

Just a warning: Divinity II: Developer's Cut does not have 360 controller support from what I can tell, which is really odd since the games also on the 360, might not matter for some but personally I like playing these games with a controller, just wanted to let you guys/girls know.

Lame! Was starting to consider getting, but now maybe not. Yes, I'm a controller whore.

I understand, honestly my hand has issues and these types of games I sorta like to play for long sessions...and well a mouse kinda hurts me after 30-40 mins.

Thats part of the reason I will be first on line for the Steam controller...

Honestly all of the software aggravates me, When it has to mimic analog stick to mouse its the worst in my experiences. I still haven't played the PC version of Fable because of that...

I'm the same, I have the beginnings of arthritis in my hands. I have a nice mouse and all but playing with my ps3 controller is much easier and hurts a hell of a lot less.

I hate ports that completely removed controller support from the original. That makes no damn sense at all. Sure people may want to use kb/mouse so put that in, and make it function sensibly.... but why take something out?
I think bioware had a problem with that with games like KOTOR and Mass Effect if I recall.

If you can find any instance where "Average" is used to describe the price you must pay to get the bonus games anywhere on the Humble website, then you are not on the Humble website.

I just got a giftable copy of Game of Thrones from activating this $1 bundle key ... I already owned it (but not some other games). Bonus!

You must have previously bought bundle (f.ex. Game of Thrones bundle) that gives you a copy of Game of Thrones as a gift if you own it.
Steam grants these later too if you get game as part of bundle.

Hmm.. not interested in the $6 games.. but I am interested in a few of the $1 ones so :P

..I have a backlog to work on now >< Well, I had one before getting this bundle.. but.. its growing that is for sure ><

Then there are the games that I need to finish... Oh and games that I beaten already but did not get the achievements due to being in offline mode.. so there is that... I know I am going to continue getting more games too lol. Some day I will finish them all. Someday.

THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO MAKE IT A HUMBLE BUNDLE, AND ADD MARS WAR LOGS AND OF ORCS AND MEN AS A 2ND WEEK BONUSES! F**K THEM.

And also- a hard cap. I should be used to seeing 6 USD instead of good old BTA by now, but after seeing the second part of the bundle in the steam db called "Beat the average", I was expecting, well, beating the average price.

Still, great bundle for people who haven't played GoT and D2. I might reconsider buying it for Sherlock Holmes, but will probably decide not to. Because I wanted to get some extra RPGs :(

Where did you ever see that Mars War Logs and Orcs and Men were supposed to be added to this bundle ?

I was wondering the same thing. This bundle has been kicking around the interweb for a while. Not once have i seen/heard that Mars logs and Orcs and men were a part of this bundle.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I have hoped they would add at least one of those as a bonus game (if it would be a 2-week bundle, not weekly sale); no proofs or leaks, just my wishful thinking ;p

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The leaks with Focus A and Focus B gave it away though. Main bundles are normally single keys for each game, so they don't need grouping in the Steam DB. Two groups of bundled games meant it was almost guaranteed to be a weekly bundle.
