Maybe buy both Life is Feudal in a bundle? https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/8377/Life_is_Feudal_Franchise_Games/
Mount & Blade Warband is also a good pick.

This is not about survival but you should check if you haven't played it before:
Anno 1404 a.k.a. Dawn of Discovery

I'd suggest Banished or one of the Stronghold/Stronhold Crusader games. Anno 1404 (Dawn of Discovery in the US) is also fantastic, but might fall outside what most people consider medieval?

Saelig dev is super involved, he is alone but he makes very regular updates.
At the time of EA i tried it (1,5 year ago), we could discover most of mechanics and reach 100% achievements in 15-20h, but it was already a very polished and fun game. Since i just wait for full release before replaying it. I have absolute confidence in the seriousness of this developer.
Guild 3 i don't trust it. But i don't know how much it's improved since the horrible start of early-access. Maybe it's much better now ? I don't know.

From the discription on their storpage;
Foundation is a grid-less, sprawling medieval city building simulation with a heavy focus on organic development and monument creation.

Hmm, it's not the same sort of game at all, but have you taken a look at https://store.steampowered.com/app/233860/Kenshi/ ? I don't know how to describe it exactly... :)

Even though it doesn't tick all your requirements:

The Guild 2 was pretty good, bit buggy tho.
Knights of Honor was fun, blend of RTS with some 4x stuff.
Stronghold games are solid
Banished is great and has lots of mod support

So here we are the last day of the summer sale, and I yet to waste my money on some game. x)
I'm looking for some kind of medieval game which focuses on economy, surviving, living kind of thing. I found 2 which may fit my interest but I can't really decide. Both are still under development so they will be (hopefully) improved. Still, can't decide which may have more fun (or replayability or longer gameplay etc.)
That's why I decided to ask your opinions. I added a 3rd option if you know one which may be even better than those two.
Thanks for your ideas!
