I watch the show in English, but I was curious myself so I looked up the German version.
Almost a literal translation: "Halt das Tor". They only had to make the switch from the Ha- to the Ho- sound but the voice actor did a good job gradually increasing his slurrs. Sounded pretty good and convincing

In Hungarian the official translation wa the literal one: "Tartsd az ajtót!" It didn't make sense how it transformed into Hodor.
However there is a fan subtitle, which used the "Holtodig óvd!" sentence (=Protect it till your death!).

I didn't watched, I have just been told. I guess, since it was an awful job to transalte it, it depends on how well the voice actor does it. I'm just pitty for the people who have to watch it doubled, but it looks like a pretty good solution comparing with other languages shared here.

fox ITA (and i think in all EU countries) put on air the eng sub ita edition at first. then, after a week, the full dubbed edition.
and in the last week it has been a lot of speculation about the various translations that could stand the "hodor thing".
here i can take some informations to share to my friends :D
but i got your point about the voice actors. i guess you're right

Literally "hold the door, hold the door, Hodor", well at least I guess we got the most accurate translation if nothing else XD
or if u want word by word
Задръж врата/та
Hold door the
bit diffirent structure, but our language is a bit more complicated than the English, so that's why it looks like that ^^

Yo guys, how did they transform the english "hold the door" (that formed the beloved "hodor" word) in your local language? out of curiosity :)
here in italy they used "trova un modo" (find a way! LOL)
"Hodor, blocca la porta! trova un modo! (Hodor, block the door! find a way)
and so, the loop did begin: "trova un modo! trova un modo! trovaaaah un modooooor! hodor"
