It is very rare for the sound quality to be this good. It was Adele's first stadium gig and I think they were determined to get it right because they had rehearsals on three days. Normally, I hear one sound check and zero rehearsals. The most annoying are multiple stage music festivals - two or more songs simultaneously rattling the windows is quite unpleasant. There are only a few concerts a year. However, there is Australian Rules Football there every week for half the year and it is really fucking annoying. People seem to be a special brand of stupid on the way to and from the games and also carry a real sense of entitlement. They will walk on the road even though there is a footpath on one side and a park on the other. They will walk four abreast on the footpath and be upset that you are trying to travel the opposite direction. They park in private car parks and lie when confronted. They urinate and throw rubbish in your property and your mailbox and yell abuse. They also like to think that traffic rules don't apply to them. When I had a flatmate, we were t-boned by a car driving on the wrong side of the road when we were turning into our driveway. Now they block the roads for periods before and after each event, and the detours to get home can take 20 minutes if you arrive at the wrong time. Sometimes, noisy and smelly buses sit idling next to our place for up to an hour because the place they are meant to be is full.
