Need advice: winner gave away the game and then won it from me

There are a lot of people who give away games that they also want. Heck, there's a pretty regular thing where people are encouraged to give away games off their wishlist.

No, of course not. I've also given away games that I wanted to activate myself. That's not against the rules.

I've done that several times and seen others do this. I don't see a problem and it's totally not against SG rules.

I think it's OK. I have records of a few games givenaway first, activated for myself later.

As long as he USES the copy you give him ( assuming he currently has no active copy) adding it to his library then it should be fine.

They didn't know that the game is awesome back then? They weren't interested in it back then? Their PCs couldn't run it back then so they gave the game away?

Ok, thanks everyone. I don't mind giving it away, just seemed unusal for me since I activiate wanted games first and then give a spare keys away. Guess I needed another perspective ;) Closing the thread.
