Easy doesnt mean better :)

There are easy puzzles and hard puzzles. These two were easy, and had 109 and 104 entries:

"1 win is all i want and then i will be happy"
Hmmm... 2 wins.
Of those two wins, one game has not clocked any playtime.
The other (won a month ago) isn't even in your game list. In fact, it's not even in your inventory. Wonder where it went?

You do realize that the purpose of puzzle giveaways isn't necessarily always to enter a giveaway but to attempt the puzzle itself? Ever heard of the phrase "the journey is the reward"? It applies here. The difficulty of the puzzles is at the discretion of the creators, and they aren't obligated to cater to your whims. I don't solve all the puzzles either - your life isn't over.

Ditto. Generally, I try and solve most puzzles, even if I already have or don't want the game.

No. No! NO!
At least wait until a couple of weeks after Googly's maze...

I like making puzzle giveaways, and try not to make them too difficult. Why? Because its fun, and mainly since it improves peoples odds of winning. Public giveaways sometimes get over 1000 entries. My puzzle giveaways had about 50. I try to make it so that everyone that tries and puts some effort into it, has a fairly good chance of entering.

I was ashamed of my Deus Ex giveaway because I made it WAY too hard

That's what I was going to say. Personally I have fun with the puzzles, even if I don't win...or sometimes make it into the giveaway at all or I already own the game...it's just fun. And people put some real effort into them.
I personally like the puzzle giveaways.

I've watched this developing for the past day or so. Kudos on becoming what is probably the most hated user on SG so far so quickly (if I'm mistaken, please do correct me)!
And yeah, I agree with everything above, puzzles are fun and the more difficult ones engage only those users who are actually passionate and would be willing to put in a bit of effort as a token of appreciation towards the puzzle creator (and person gifting the game) rather than mindlessly click "Enter Giveaway".

FORGIVE ME! xD
Please take the time to read the giveaway description
FYI: I really love the puzzle giveaways and all the people who participate in organising them. It's a very creative way to give away games and they provide a bit of fun/education in the process. I love you SteamGifters!
