Question about Dishonored & Dishonored GOTY

Hey,
I have Dishonored and i want to get the DLC but i see the GOTY edition in store.
My question is : Are Dishonored & Dishonored GOTY two different versions ?
I'm asking this because i want to get the achievements on only one game !

No it's only one game in your library.

The DLC just gets added to the base game so there is no new entry in your Steam library.

Get Dishonored GOTY, otherwise you won't have all the achievements. It only has one page, so I assume Dishonored and the GOTY are the same game.

Good luck with "By My Hand Alone", it was one of the worst achievements I ever got :p

I was so lucky with that one. I only needed 10 tries until i got an incredibly easy setup. Had to pause the game for a minute at the last wave because my hands were shaking and I didn't want to mess it up :D

I did I don't know how many tries, there was always someone who stole a kill. By the last 2 waves I was pretty nervous too. I even failed once with 52 kills, at the second to last wave someone stole a kill. I hate this achievement :p

I can totally understand that. I was prepared to waste hours for that, but then it just worked :D
Achieving Daredevil took me about 6-8 hours though. -.-*

I quite enjoyed that game mode so I didn't mind as much, though those assassin's were annoying at times. It took me quite a while to get it too, not 6/8 hours though, maybe 4 hours or so?

I think at one point, I just entered "brute-force"-mode and wasn't able to just take a break and try again later. I guess that would have helped :D
But yes, even while that achievement took some time, it was still a worthy game to get 100%

It was a great challenge mode for me. I learned so many cool stuff about the game mechanics while playing that one. Really gave me another look at the whole game :D

The majority of the challenges were terrible and I learned nothing :D But a few of the modes were fun, so eh...

If you enjoyed from the base game, this is one of the few DLCs are almost as good as the base game (well, for me trials is not, because has 0 history :p) Also all dlcs has achievements from the same game

I've done the same I had the standart edition and just bought GOTY, activate it and just unlocks the DLCs

No, they're not in steam's eyes. GOTY in this case is Dishonored (which you already have and can't be added to your library again) + DLC (which would be added)

The GOTY is just a package in the steam store that contains the Dishonored base game and all the DLC's.

The Dishonored-GOTY is NOT some remastered version like Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the first Sin. The Dishonored-GOTY is not a seperate game.
