Nuuvem says speak to PayPal.
Called PayPal, they can see it has been tried, but they said because I bought stuff with another currency earlier it needs time before I can purchase something else with another currency. I highly doubt it. So I will try again tomorrow morning and if it still doesn't work I'll call PayPal again.
So if you guys are having issues too, I recommend calling PayPal too. UK they open at 9 AM again tomorrow. Other places, the guy on the phone said they were open till 9 PM tonight, so if it's not that late yet for you, you might be able to get hold of your local PayPal support.

Dammit. 8.00 and 4.30 GMT Monday to Friday
I'll try email. What he said to you seems like bs, my last payment was 4 days ago, which must be enough for anything there might be holding me back. Well, 2 days to go, I can either wait or find myself some friendly brazilian. But I'd rather be able to buy it myself since I might want to buy there in the future too :D
Edit: I might try and send money to my PP account, so the order draws them directly from the account, not from my CC. This should confirm or deny CC as the cause of this.

Does this work in the US? Omerta looks interesting.

Nevermind, was getting suspicious because paypal wouldn't open but my adblocker just thought it was a pop-up. Downloading games as I type; great find OP.

So, from the UK we can't make the payments with PayPal. PayPal system is blocking the payment which is most likely caused by the currency. You can change the currency in you account if you have a balance on PayPal, but R$ (Brazilian Real) isn't available. I tried setting the currency to US$ but this also doesn't work.
Which means, if we want it, we need someone else to buy it for us. Oh well, guess it saves me some money, already have a massive backlog as it is anyway ;)

Nuuvem could fix it by allowing normal CC payments or allowing different currencies, but I can understand their point of view. It definitely is PayPal's fault and their stupid "Risk" safety system that they can't control.
You would think they could allow a payment to go through once the owner of account calls and says it should be allowed through.

I bet you got something along those lines as a response too:
I have reviewed your PayPal account and can see that your payment of $ 20.00 USD has been stopped by our internal security system.
To provide one of the safest online payment methods PayPal reviews every payment before it's approved. Occasionally, we may block the use of a particular card or your balance if there may be a higher-than-normal level of risk associated with the transaction.
When a payment is blocked, this is not a reflection of you or your account activities. Our internal security system is an automated system which reviews all of the details of every payment that is made through PayPal. It has been designed to recognise patterns that could result in buyer complaints, unauthorised claims or chargebacks. This is similar to the way your bank or credit card issuer approves transactions.
For fraud prevention reasons, I cannot see what aspect of this payment has caused our internal security system to intervene. Neither can I override or manually change the security settings to allow your payment to go through.
I can, however, give you advice on the steps you can take to reduce the chances that our internal security system will block any future payments.
If your payment has been blocked you can:
Clear your cache and cookies or try a different web browser
Attempt to make the payment from a different card
Attempt to make the payment at a different time
Ensure that you are making your payment from your country of residence. If possible attempt to complete the payment from your home computer or the computer you most frequently use to access your PayPal account.
Now this is probably the first time I am having such problem with PP. And wtf is that security system about if it blocks only some accounts and not all or at least most of them :F

Thanks for the help PsyKo :)
I now have a key for Assassin's Creed: Revelations (Uplay) and for I Am Alive (retail, needs the DVD or install .exe from Nuuvem). The key doesn't work in Uplay, nor in Steam. It does activate the game and works with the updated version and does it's DRM stuff. So key is valid, but only for the Retail install sadly enough.
Checking with Ubisoft to see if they can exchange it for an actual Uplay key, but I highly doubt it ;)
