Me too, first time I heard them I couldn't believe my ears. Their whole output is amazing, from Neurosis to Tribes of Neurot and all their collaborations.
My favorite record is still probably A Sun that Never Sets.

And on CD all the time, I just never got hooked on Vinyl back then( as it was basically dead then 1996), though I regret it now sometimes...
But I amassed too much CD's by now, so I don't wanna make the switch.

I feel like DEP is one of those rare bands that just gets better and better as they progress and their older stuff becomes more and more brutal :)

I didn't get into record buying/collecting until college when I discovered the fact that there were still a lot of bands who recorded on vinyl.This was in the burgeoning days of the internet when it was a lot harder to mail order music. I am thankful for Maximum Rock and Roll and HeartAttack 'zines for making it easy to find record distros.
