So I am eligible for a phone upgrade, I had an HTC EVO 4G LTE- I loved that phone and want to stay with HTC and Android. I want to get a phone from HTC's One line, the phones that I am deciding from are the HTC One, HTC One Max, and HTC One M8. Which one do you recommend, and why?

I was leaning towards the M8 because the internal specs are more impressive- however the Max is bigger and has a longer lasting battery.

The One Max has a has a bigger battery because it has a bigger screen that consumes more energy.

I recommend the M7 or the M8. I have the M7 atm and I wouldn't get any other phone even if it was for free.

Don't get the HTC One, I heard it has charging problems. Not sure about the M8 though!

Get the M8. Much better than the other 2.
HTC One with the Snapdragon 600 is showing its age, and I find find the screen too big on the Max.

Might be a good idea to try other brands too. I like the design of their phones, but the UltraPixel camera is just not very good.

but, the camera have some bug. some users have the same experience to me.
the purple tint on low light condition, it's quite annoy.

I have the htc one m7 and it had loads of problems. Purple camera, screen bleeding and when you sent it to be repaired they damage the phone, because it is so hard te repair. I haven't heard of any problems with the m8. Don't get me wrong the m7 is a very good phone and still very fast, but if it has problems you will go on a very long repair road. Mine took about 2 months. So i would recommend the m8 but if you could find the m7 for a very good deal it is still worth it.

every electronic on this planet can be faulty. if you were unlucky it doesn't mean every m7 is bad.

well i had three replacement phone and all of them had screen bleeding and two of them had the purple camera. If the replacement was fine i would agree but three replacements and still the same problem well that's got to be a manufacturing problem. And i never said the m7 is bad its a very good phone but it has it's fair share of problems.
