That might be so. But regardless, they still take time out of their day for people that frequent the deals section. Maybe there is some ulterior motive and that would make sense. Whether it be personal gratification, whitelists, blacklists, gaining SG fame, whatever else, the main thing is that they do this for us.
There's no selfless deed.
(Unless I completely misunderstood you, in which case, please elaborate :D )

Well, fair enough. I sometimes do good things and sometimes I am a smartass if I think I know something. In those cases I'm a total ass. In other cases... hopefully not so much.
My point is that "nice" means nothing. There's no real way of definitively saying "x" is nice and "y" isn't.
You might have been taken to dislike a person from a first encounter or something that you saw. In most cases in SG, the things you see are pretty much out of context.
It's possible that they truly are nasty people with no redeemable qualities, but from my experience, things aren't usually that black and white.

Often on these forums, we like to complain and give reasons why they, the world, or just other people/companies just plain suck.
But, this time, let's be a bit more optimistic.
I've been saving up some money recently and that means that I haven't been able to buy any of the cool bundles that have been up recently. So, it's quite awesome to know that so many of you are giving away some of those games to us, the users. Whether it's motivated by the slow grind (in a good way) of CV, just getting rid of excess keys or buying the bundle to just give stuff away.
We, as humans, tend to take things for granted. We might want a new car, let's say. You get the car, you love it at first, but then those intense feelings disappear and we want another thing, while maybe even complaining about the car that we oh so desperately wanted.
Personally, I think that we have a really good thing here in Steamgifts. We have CG, the big dog who's working hard on fixing a lot of things on this site (Not to mention those dope giveaways he's pumped out while not winning a single game.). We have our moderators, who, while flawed, are doing their very best to help this site and create a nice environment for everyone. Yes, I said that they're flawed, but who isn't?
Also, the wonderful users that are on this site. You, who make threads to inform others of ongoing bundles. You, who show us where we could find free games that we wouldn't even play 90% of the time, but still redeem regardless because who knows. You, who contribute to discussions with valid ideas, new perspectives or just a nice gif that makes someone laugh.
Now, I'm not saying that we shouldn't complain. It's healthy to complain and strive for a better world for others and yourself. But it's also healthy to once in a while just take a step back, smell the roses and see how good we have here.
So, thank you, everyone.
If you would want to thank someone in particular or just say a few good words, then maybe this is the thread to do so.
Rock on, Steamgifts!
