It's been one of my most wanted games for a while but I actually haven't played any of the Shadowrun games yet, myself. Keep hearing only good things about them!

It's a great game. Most people prefer Dragonfall Directors Cut, personally I prefer Hong Kong (which just got a big update with a second campaign) HBS really does good games.

Yeah, they improve their games a lot and not just a graphics update or ... dumbing down to 'attract a larger audience' as you see happening with some big titles. This studio seems to gradually improve every aspect of their games. And some tickle down to their earlier releases. :-)
Oh, but don't expect this first release to be a bad or even mediocre game!
Just know that if you want to play them all, you'd want to start with the first, just because you'll miss the enhancements in the gameplay of the later games.

I never thought Shadowrun would Return. Not since that night it went out to buy cigarettes and a carton of milk. The sun was going down over our trailer, the lightning bugs were just coming out, and I can still see Shadowrun's mullet wafting lazily in the breeze as it walked out to its El Camino.
