If you're serious about photography and shoot RAW, you absolutely have to get this promo. I'm using DxO OpticsPro since v7 and have upgraded every couple of versions (using the current v11 now), and I can tell you that v9 for free is an amazingly good deal. This version introduced a noise-reduction feature called PRIME NR, which in my opinion is still unmatched by any other software till this day. They since improved the performance of this feature significantly, but since you can batch process it over the night performance is not something I would worry about. Did I mention it's free? When you need serious noise reduction, there's just nothing else out there that beats it. Just be ready for several minutes processing per-image when you enable this option. The software also comes with a more traditional (and still very effective) noise reduction option that's much quicker and more suitable for images that aren't exceptionally noisy.
Everything else about the quality of images this software delivers is first rate, so don't hesitate and grab this deal while it's available.
Note: This version supports most cameras released until mid-2014 (check this PDF to see if your camera is supported) . For newer cameras you need to either buy a newer version or wait for it to be featured on a similar promotion (which will probably take another year, looking at previous promotions by DxO).
