I totally missed the thread, and would have totally called the vote-mining as a low move, but given it was probably an open-competition then 'quality control' would have also probably been a total non-factor, so I suppose it was fair game? Sucks, but expected. At least someone who needed a replacement computer got it.

Despite that little gripe, it's cool that you didn't just mine for votes like a blind beggar. The fact you made a follow-up thread (and give-away) means that at least a decent person won it. Also congrats on landing a job too!

Grats, i always thought that asking for likes/votes/views was extremely low, but i guess it works for some people.
