Indeed. I'm just trying to get the word out so this doesn't happen to other people.

Okay for the friend request, but what about the emails? You didn't say you responded to them.
Rerolling is easy, by the way, yes. When I finally reach that stage after 8-10 days of pointless contact attempts, it happens within 24 hours of submitting the request with 1-2 screenshots.

if its true, i would write to the support... i dont think, you will get the game, but if others are writing them the same story, the support should do something^^

I did contact support they said the reroll went thru so I don't get the game and they would monitor the person but doesn't seem like they get in any real trouble.

the support dont know, who is telling the truth. so they cant suspend him^^
but if the ga-creator get more often reported, the support will know what to do

True, I think at very least the way support handles situations like this should change. Maybe if the person can't seem to contact the winner then support can send an email to the winner to verify they can't be contacted.

We don't have the time to do this. If you think ticket responses are slow, think of how much more time it would take if we have to email everyone. We are not supposed to resolve issues through Steam or other venues such as email.
What you have done is exactly how it should be done. If you have a problem with a reroll, then you can submit a support ticket and we will investigate.

I never said ticket responses are slow. Yes, some ticket responses are slow but I feel like it is far to easy and support seems to be far to quick to decide to reroll with evidence that doesn't prove much of anything. Anyone can take a screencap of a friend request when the other person is offline and then remove the request. Anyone can take a screen cap of an email without showing if there is ever a reply. If you can't do anything on steam or through email why can't anything be done through steamgifts. I logged onto steam gifts multiple times during the week.

Yes, anyone can also photoshop their screenshots and we won't have a clue. Like I said before, the system is working as intended. We reroll based on the evidence submitted, if there is a problem, the winner should submit a support ticket and we will investigate.
If you believe things should be done differently, feel free to volunteer to be a support member and if selected, you'll see just how unfeasible it is to have to contact all of the winners.

I'm sure if it were not past the 7 days minimum time, no one would have granted the re-reoll request.

It wasn't past the 7 day time it was at the 5 or 6 day mark. If it had been past the 7 day mark I would have marked it not recieved.

Giveaway ended October 11, 2015 @ 10:51AM, reroll request was submitted October 18, 2015 @ 2:19PM, so yes, it was 7 days.

I guess it was 7 day. It just didn't seem that long to me. Edit: Plus I have no way of checking it now since the person blacklisted me and I can't even see the giveaway.

What were you doing offline in the first place? Huh? Explain yourself. :|

I have a job. I'm sorry. I need money for more games. :(

Eww. Buying games. That's gross. Why do you live in the past? D;

Didn't you not read my post people aren't giving me games so I'm forced to buy them.

You don't have to be a beggar or have money to get legit games, dood. Such binary thinking would make the Steam a boring place. ^^

SG just recently down for sometime and maybe it's mess up with the giveaway time and date because I believe both the gifter and receiver allow 7 days to give away and active/mark receive the gift. By that I mean there is no way support allow to reroll if that's pass the 7 days mark ( according to you it's not pass 7 days mark). The only time I see support to allow reroll sooner than 7 days is when the winner have an non-active game / multiple win ( aka some rule violation).
BTW, you should send the ticket to support and explain the situation also mention the 7 days deadline thing if that's the case.

That's what I thought aswell after listening Adele

Would it be against the rules to show his name? Probably...

About a week ago I had won someones giveaway but apparently they didn't feel like giving me the game so they had it rerolled(I'm still not sure why. is there something wrong with me?). All they had to do was provide the mods with a couple screencaps showing how they "tried" to add me on steam and a couple emails they sent asking why I was ignoring them. Basically both times they friend requested me i was offline and they immediately removed the friend requests as soon as they had gotten their "proof". I actually friend requested them and left it on steam for a day to verify they would see it and they ignored my request.
