Good deed/favor you did recently

i "got" some friends of mine a job doing what they loves (qotes because i only recommended and put a good word for them but they got the job) and i did so bad in a job interview that i gave another person a job doing what i would love to do thats a positive thing right?

I helped a sick friend, i guess.

So I've been in a bad place in my life for quite a few years now, struggling just to keep it together but always putting my father's problems ahead of my own because he felt overwhelmed with his responsibilities and had a shutdown because of it., (basically not taking care of his house or himself etc) .It's not a easy thing to do and has caused a lot of mental distress but I'm hanging in there and half way done.It's common that when your parents get old you start taking care of them but usually It's after your grown and out of the house but in my case it was since childhood.Anyway, I'm almost done and I'm just glad I can turn it the right direction for him, myself, and everyone else involved.

shoveled the snow in front of our block of flats yesterday evening, wasn't my turn and it was quite heavy snow but I felt like in the mood, this kind of work clears your mind

It has been a long time I've done any good. I've been... a bit down lately. Or annoyed. I don't know.

In any case, I've been trying my best to be helpful and pleasant with other people. I actually can't think of any specific good deeds I've done in the past months. Does taking an extra shift at work for my co-worker count? I guess that doesn't really count, considering it just means I'm getting an extra paid shift. :P

If I compare myself to extremely lazy, asshole jbond, I can say that matching trading card sets for my brother and sister during the sales is a good deed because I could be an asshole and say "deal with it"... but that's not really a good deed, just a naturally "not complete asshole" action. Damn, I'm stumped. Guess I need to up my good deeds game. :D

I bought christmas gifts for a friends' children ^.^
And if I can manage some more money on amazon I plan to buy another friend of mine some water color markers she want and one with um . . . well is stuck in bed for personal medical reasons it's not my place to tell a cheap tablet. ^.^

I didn't kill my neighbors.
But the day isn't over yet, either.

I'll have to let you know tomorrow if it counts as a good deed.

I've donated all my hair (5 years growing it) to a charity that makes wigs for women battling cancer. I told it to a Twitch streamer friend of mine and he also decided to set up a charity event and got almost 1k USD for a cancer charity as well :)

I guess, it's a cultural thing. Bragging about this sort of things would be considered a bit obscene here (unless you are 6 years old and are going for a candy, of course).

I gifted a friend of mine a League of Legend expensive skin he wanted so bad, and forgave another friend who I was in bad terms with. :)

This was about as much as I could muster today, given the weather.
Went around the lot at work and lifted everyone's wiper blades off their windshields because there's an ice-storm.

Passed a pile of trays to the employee at a fast food place as she was straining to reach it over the counter (honestly who designed that?!) earlier today. It's weak, but it's something! :P
