Left 4 Dead 2 Multiplayer

I am completely ready to buy L4D2 while it's in the Commmunity Choice sale. I have the money reserved for it in my Steam Wallet, I know that it's a great game, and I have plenty of friends that I could play coop with.

All that I need to know before clicking one of these buttons is whether or not there are still people playing the multiplayer.
