same situation here, none today, I just got the message: "You've completed your queue and have unlocked 6 event trading cards!" but in reality there was nothing.

Not even sure. It was just like the first day. Got 13 cards from the first discovery queue and nothing from the other 2. Maybe it's because I've bought a few games and received no cards from that.

yeah, that was odd that it took 4-5 attempts before i got any, but it finally cracked and gave me some. it says i got "6" according to the end of the discovery que after the first attempt today, and every following attempt. so it may crack some more if we keep trying, idk. (will try again later personally)

If you get 0 cards, look at your badge page.
if it says that you have card drops remaining use idle master.

Apparently, we got them for voting during The Steam Awards
UPDATE: Extra cards not dropping anymore. Apparently, it was not a surprise gift from Valve. It was a bug and they fixed it :(
