I've searched around (not well enough) but how could I add a table like this? I see them in the bundle threads too.
Comment has been collapsed.
you mean here? if you mean yes, https://www.steamgifts.com/about/comment-formatting.

I actually checked the comment FAQ first, thank you. Is that table the same as the type Sh4dowKill posted above? I thought maybe there was something that would pull the ratings and card info automatically.

The charts in the bundle threads? This is what most people seem to be using: https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/ed1gC/userscript-lexs-sg-chart-maker

Yeah, this is what I just installed, but I didn't know how to register an app that I don't have... wondering if I just make up stuff there to get the API key.

You can just enter some filler info as a placeholder, it doesn't get released publicly unless you want it to.

Thanks, done that now. I have the API, but I don't know where to place it. I've used Tampermonkey and APIs previously, but this script doesn't seem to load up at all--I tried loading the Steam Store, but no button appears in the top-right corner. Any chance you know where I should put the API?
Comment has been collapsed.
Haven't actually installed the script myself, so no idea I'm afraid. Try posting in the original thread for the script, the OP or another user should be able to help you.

:eyes the confusingly muddled thread title skeptically:
Is this a thread about a new Mortal Kombat anthology, then? :P
Jests aside, wouldn't the usual steamdb, isthereanydeal, or steam wishlist links be more useful than the steam store one (especially given how unreliable steam store is during sales)? :)
The days of price glitches and errors seem to be largely behind us, but who knows?
I'm sure Amazon'll come up with something for us again soon. :P

The thread only references the overly dramatic and corporatized titles of some popular American sporting events Comment brought to you by Durex: Taste the Rainbow.
About the links, honestly no clue. These threads have always just used the direct Steam links to the Store page, so that users here could head right on over. Steam kind of hid their All Games page during sales a couple iterations ago, so I think that's how that particular link got started.

Oh, well, that makes sense, then. :)

*For everyone not in the States, the beer called Budweiser over here goes by"Bud" in most of the EU, and shouldn't be confused with the other, better Budweiser brand.

The only reason I remembered a sale was going on is because I got an email from isthereanydeal with a bunch of wishlist items on sale. (Very few of them have a good enough price drop though)

I wonder if some Bethesda games will get sales better than 50%, especially Definitive/GOTY editions.
Comment has been collapsed.
It has been three years that I have been waiting for Morrowind & Oblivion & Old Fallouts GOTY. I already played them but didn't think of buying on Steam when they were %75 off regularly back then. I just don't understand why they stopped doing %75... Even Skyrim is kinda ok but Morrowind from 2002, wtf..

Oh yeah I got a grand total budget of about $20 for this sale. Hoping to pick up Wolfenstein II, Assassins creed origins, and Injustice II with that and I will cry like a baby about how much the sale sucks if I can't do it.
Realistically though, there's some tasty looking indies that I've got my eye on, here's hoping some of them will get their best discounts

Meh sales are kinda lame nowadays outside of the cards , and you cant exploit price glitches by buying steam gifts like u used to be able to RIP

Sorry if this has been asked before...
What is the best strategy regarding badge crafting? Is it better to craft badges during the Steam sales? Outside of sales, you usually get a coupon when you craft a badge and during sales, you receive a trading card from the sale event, am I right? Is that the only difference?
Comment has been collapsed.
You are right, whether you prefer the coupon or the trading card, that's up to you, so far I've chosen the cards because they are worth at least something.
Comment has been collapsed.
This! ^^
If you wait to craft until the major Steam sales then you get trading cards instead of coupons.
And coupons can (relatively) easy be found if you need one.
Comment has been collapsed.
If you're going to level up (sole purpose) it is better to craft badges during steam sales, crafting badges will earn you Steam Sale cards, if sold in set, priced about 1 csgo per 3 steam sale sets, so you can get sell the sets to get more badges, and more steam sale sets. repeat until u got no more sets, sell the remaining incomplete sets to market
Or, you can horde the steam sale sets, and craft them, and since they got no limited badge level, you can craft it to infinity. (costly)

Compred to autumn sale triggers were edited a bit, to require slightly bigger discount and historical lookup was made longer. (one year instead of ~6.5 months)

This reminds me of that "The Room" quote when Johnny is morose in the bathroom.

since steam add discount limit for lowpriced games - i dont see any reason to bue cheap games on steam, only in 3rd stores

I have 21 cents so there better be nice glitches under 21 cents

Fair warning, Advent Dark Force is the same game but with a lot more content.
Something to consider before buying the original version.
I believe this is the full list of differences included in Advent Dark Force:
- Two additional story routes (To a total of three)
- The game is rebalanced, and plotholes are fixed in the original route
- More dungeons, new enemies, more endings
- Two additional playable characters
- Party size in battles is doubled (from 3 to 6 characters), fights are larger in scale
- Ability to select one of three game difficulties (original game had no difficulty selection)
- Improved New Game +
- Dash movement option added for quicker map travel

Really, if they're going to keep old game versions up for purchase, they should have a notice, like Dark Souls II does. It was bad enough when Guacamelee did it, but its rebalancing, extra areas, and extra features is just a drop in the bucket compared to what Advent adds to FFF. Honestly, it feels like scammy marketing.
Wish I coulda gotten you that info sooner. :/
